Cardiff Fans

I don't know how to break it gently to you youngsters so i'll just say it straight

All fans are the fucking same.

Most people at matches are like most people in society - decent fairminded people. However there's always an objectionable minority in any large enough sample of people. Proportionally there are just as many scumbag thugs in Manchester as there are in Cardiff or Newcastle or Stretford. Just as many decent folk are attacked by groups of drunken cowards in Manchester on a Friday night as in Leeds, Grimsby, Leicester etc.

Admittedly fans of certain clubs have attracted such notoriety that the proportion of dimwitted losers following them is slightly higher than the norm but that shouldn't detract from the undeniable fact that people are the same the world over.

All fans are the fucking same.........

Er no.......

What are you, some bearded philosopher in sandals living in a cave ?

Worse still, maybe some self important tosser in a poor attempt to defend the idiotic behaviour of welsh over excited buffoons giddy after a few pints.

Childish logic to tar us all with the same brush, we are talking football fans at the match and the Cardiff fans acted like the trash they are.
Not long standing supporting fans of the football club
No tradition of support away or at home for that matter and after this season sinking back into the darkness where they belong.
A day out for clowns at an iconic ground against an iconic team, once in a lifetime experience for the fools.

Dont label or dare compare the fans of my football club with these idiots used to watching premier football on sky and with attitudes 20 years behind the rest of the football world.

I've never read a thread full of such self righteous football 'fans' ever.

...

Cardiff take a great away support to all games, and create better atmosphere than most home fans (including yours)

Unfortunately it was the majority of Cardiff fans on Saturday.

OK a minority took part in the scuffle, but it was obvious that the majority of their support were there as they saw City and their fans as a good opprtunity to relive the good old days. Unfortunately for them we have moved on, like the rest of the PL.

The last time I can recall that kind of turnout was by Millwall at MR.

Make no doubt about it, if the Police had allowed Cardiff out after the final whistle, it would have been mayhem outside the ground.

Bearded tosser in sandals is pretty accurate mate but I disagree with the rest of your guff

I'm not tarring all fans with the same brush I'm tarring a section of society a proportion of whom are present at all clubs. Maybe you think all blues are angels. Maybe you've only been here since the gentrification of football and haven't seen City fans behave just as badly as anyone else. Maybe you sit down in your leather seat having just gulped down a nice glass of chablis and look around at the iphone toting camera brandishing brigade and think to yourself what thoroughly decent chaps you're surrounded by. I do but I'm well aware that dotted round the ground there are also plenty of dirtballs You're either daft or naive to believe that we don't have our fair share of scumbags in our ranks. I've seen City fans mob handed kickin fuck out of other fans on numerous occasions down the years.

Are you 6 years old ?

Spot on Santiago -we're a bit one eyed , like all fans are I suppose , but to try and deny that some of us are just like the rest is a little deluded .
Human nature -we're better than everyone else -we'd like to think so!!

Bearded tosser in sandals, guessed so
You forgot to mention that you are a self important twat as well
6 years old ....? Nah a little older than that
Born in Harpurhey and raised in Benchill so stick your Chablis comment and leather seat shit up your arse as well.
Working class hero and City fan to boot, what's your working class pretend credentials Tarquin ?
What platform are you standing on to preach your pseudo intellectual observation from ?
Dont label my fan base of Gods own club with the giddy morons I laughed at yesterday throwing handbags at each other.
We are a cult club, passions run deep and we have a fair share of aggressive oddballs but I find your comments offensive.
As a fan base you cannot compare us to Cardiff's, we act and think differently. By your logic we are on the same level as the butchers at Heysel .
Cannot recall any deaths involving crowd trouble at matches with us so appreciate if you can fan bases of clubs act and think according to more factors than you can understand.

Seldom do I feel the need to register an account to another teams forum.

I think that this is the second time I've done it after signing up to a Watford forum last year.

Manchester City was I club that I have had some respect for over years, partially from the football that you played during the Colin Bell days but probably more due to the fact that you were the "real Manchester" team.

This thread however has really saddened me.
Cardiff Fans are Scum, Welsh folk are Mutton Shaggers, They are stuck in the 70, s etc etc.

I am going to generalise now as well.
If this thread is a fair reflection of your fanbase, then two thirds of Man City Fans are Johnny Come Lately, easily offended pussies.

Do these fans actually do awaydays?
Are they now just fanatical (Never stood on the Kippax) newbies that started loving Man City when Middle East oil started paying for David Silva etc?

Do they remember the Guvnor's kicking off at every given opportunity.

Do they remember the infamous Moss Side welcome that away fans received?

Did they display indignation at the fact that thirty odd "lads" beat on families and scarfers in Cardiff back in August?

Probably not is my guess.

Times move on and rightly so, but the amount of faux outrage on here is shocking.
Especially since 20 odd lads jumped and seriously hurt 3 CCFC fans who were walking back to their car.

We may go back down to the championship and to be honest it wouldn't bother me.
At least I (with the exception of Watford), wouldn't have to read such hyperbole when visiting another teams forum.
