Cardiff Fans

Seldom do I feel the need to register an account to another teams forum.

I think that this is the second time I've done it after signing up to a Watford forum last year.

Manchester City was I club that I have had some respect for over years, partially from the football that you played during the Colin Bell days but probably more due to the fact that you were the "real Manchester" team.

This thread however has really saddened me.
Cardiff Fans are Scum, Welsh folk are Mutton Shaggers, They are stuck in the 70, s etc etc.

I am going to generalise now as well.
If this thread is a fair reflection of your fanbase, then two thirds of Man City Fans are Johnny Come Lately, easily offended pussies.

Do these fans actually do awaydays?
Are they now just fanatical (Never stood on the Kippax) newbies that started loving Man City when Middle East oil started paying for David Silva etc?

Do they remember the Guvnor's kicking off at every given opportunity.

Do they remember the infamous Moss Side welcome that away fans received?

Did they display indignation at the fact that thirty odd "lads" beat on families and scarfers in Cardiff back in August?

Probably not is my guess.

Times move on and rightly so, but the amount of faux outrage on here is shocking.
Especially since 20 odd lads jumped and seriously hurt 3 CCFC fans who were walking back to their car.

We may go back down to the championship and to be honest it wouldn't bother me.
At least I (with the exception of Watford), wouldn't have to read such hyperbole when visiting another teams forum.
Don't think that a few posts here represent the majority, they certainly don't, but there are also posts about your fans behaving badly in a pub (often used by City fans) in the city centre before the game.

As always it goes both ways, but in the stadium it was your idiots causing trouble, not with City fans, but just in the Cardiff end, with stewards and police, and upsetting your own fans into the bargain.

That's fine, I was really disappointed as I watched your fans gang up on a steward just trying to do his job and followed it up with a "we're Cardiff City we do what we want" chant. If ganging up on stewards is doing what you want then carry on. Take your small minded comments back to the Championship where I'm sure you'll fit right in with Leeds and Millwall.

Not condoning it pal.
But are your fans lacy knickers always whiter than white?

Unfortunately it was the majority of Cardiff fans on Saturday.

OK a minority took part in the scuffle, but it was obvious that the majority of their support were there as they saw City and their fans as a good opprtunity to relive the good old days. Unfortunately for them we have moved on, like the rest of the PL.

The last time I can recall that kind of turnout was by Millwall at MR.

Make no doubt about it, if the Police had allowed Cardiff out after the final whistle, it would have been mayhem outside the ground.

Good point jrb. The reason Cardiff were not let out at the final whistle was because they had caused mayhem at Stamford Bridge and the police knew this.

Others saying all fans are the same are a bit deluded. I hardly think We will face the same level of animosity in Norwich in a couple of weeks.
