My fear is as soon as we take a couple of our big hitters out of the side our level and effectiveness drops dramatically. I agree the ones coming in have to step up and deliver but often they don't, meaning we have to fetch on our go to players to get the job done.

Big hitters like KDB, Fernandinho, and Silva, last season.we seem to have done ok wihout them, maybe 2 years ago it was a fear but not the last 2 seasons.

Yes and no. I mean more Sterling and Aguero and now Bernardo. The first two out of the side and our threat and intensity up front appears to drop dramatically.

As long as two of the holy trinity in midfield play - so two of Fernandinho, De Bruyne and D. Silva - we'll be fine. The rest of the team can be rotated.

If Cardiff did manage to beat chelsea yesterday that would of been a massive result for them staying up. With a terrible fixture list that includes us, dippers and rags in their last 7, they have a massive game with Bournemouth on saturday. Their cup final is the burnley game on the 13th and brighton the week after so although they might come with a lot of energy, if we nick an early goal then that should kill them off. I see this one finishing 4-0.

Understand your concerns but Jesus did look full of beans when he has come on lately. Playing Sane does not weaken us, and I think Mahrez will start. This type of game should suit him, he was effective down there in the away game.

It’s a very slight weakening but a necessary one, we then go strong Saturday and next Tuesday.

Would love to see Jesus, Mahrez and Sane play stormers in the Cardiff game and get another dominant win in the bag. Will give the squad a lift if everyone is showing they are ready to contribute.
