Understand your concerns but Jesus did look full of beans when he has come on lately. Playing Sane does not weaken us, and I think Mahrez will start. This type of game should suit him, he was effective down there in the away game.

It’s a very slight weakening but a necessary one, we then go strong Saturday and next Tuesday.

Would love to see Jesus, Mahrez and Sane play stormers in the Cardiff game and get another dominant win in the bag. Will give the squad a lift if everyone is showing they are ready to contribute.

I am sure everyone, myself included, wishes for this. Unfortunately Sane excepted the other two haven't really set the world alight when selected. Here's hoping though.

Delph, injured or not, shouldn’t be anywhere near the team. A complete liability these days.

I agree. It is shocking to see the huge drop in form from last season to this one. For what we paid for him though he has proved a bargain but it's time to move on st the end of the season.

My fear is as soon as we take a couple of our big hitters out of the side our level and effectiveness drops dramatically. I agree the ones coming in have to step up and deliver but often they don't, meaning we have to fetch on our go to players to get the job done.

I have to agree with you there paul, you can notice a big diference, we dont seem to be on it the same, our play is patchy were not as effective like you say, our chances on goal drop substantially and sometimes seem to run out of ideas.
But we have to rotate to keep everyone fit and fresh, l dont know what the answere is but Pep does thats all that matters

It is an odd one. Most teams would love Mahrez and Jesus in their side but for some reason for us it just doesn't seem to gel. I think Pep just hopes they will do enough to win while giving key players a rest, unfortunately often it doesn't work and they have to come off the bench.

They would but most others teams would start them every week, they are very good players but playing an odd game every now again isn't great for their form, i thought Jesus looked very lively Saturday and hopefully of the 2 he can have the impact we need. Its always going to be tough on players as we have so many top quality players and they can't play every week and to keep chopping and changing would not work either.

Jesus has looked lively all season.
Just doesn't look like scoring most games.
Mahrez just looks scared.
He hasn't handled the step up to a higher level.
The pulling out of a tackle on Saturday made me doubt if he will make the step up.

More of the same on Wed please. Kill it dead for 30 minutes then coast and get the key players off quick as we can.

Those asking for Mahrez and Jesus to start are probably the same ones asking for Adam Johnson to start back in 2011/12.

You don't rotate until you have to and it's easier to kill the game and then sub off then it is to change a game with subs.

Pep's going to go for the jugular now.
