Carefully does it in City Shop

I was there a couple of hours ago to pick up something. I'd phoned to make sure they had one in stock they said quite a few,I got there about half hour later and they were all gone probably, the knock down from 60 to 35 probably did the trick.

On the way out I got asked to take a photo for a nice bloke while he was stood infront of the programme booth next too the store, he was very trusting with his new looking very expensive Nikon camera as he turned his back and walked towards the booth. It was 2 yards to the car and he was about 20 feet away I could have been in and gone before he'd turned round.

I handed the camera to the better half to avoid temptation.;0)

No sodding scarves left in the shop though this morning! Still, got a good deal on a shirt for my sister who will be watching in the Kings Head, Santa Monica at 5am cheering the blues on. She has lived over there for 7 years, text me this morning to say we are headline news on all the news channels over there today!

The Kings Head in Santa Monica was a surprisingly good pub. They even sold good beer which is surprising for L.A.

Watched a City match there last year, quite a few blue ex-pats.

The place should (hopefully; touch wood) be rocking tomorrow!!

I know someone who works in the city shop and he said that the gold lettering and gold PL badges came today/yesterday.

Personally I think the people responsible for that shirt - and the guy on Skysports news last week outside the ground with a champions t-shirt on are rags, who are hoping for us to fail so they can laugh their cocks off!
...in fact I wouldn't be suprised if that photo agency (the ones who stage the Tevez effigy burning) are responsible for the shirt in the Trafford Centre window!

The game kicks off at 8am local time here in L.A.
His sister is going to be bladdered by the time the game starts.

I think it is more likely to be a shitty shop manager just wanting a bit of attention and footfall in his store.
