Carlitos Tevez

I for one, am very happy at the fact Tevez is staying.

People have very short memories about how wonderful he was for us last season. In football terms, why would people want rid of him? Off the field, i honestly think he is mislead by his agent and he is having personal issues with his family, which are now temporarily resolved.

Do you know the best thing? Dzeko has found his feet and is working brilliantly in to the system. We have enough games to accommodate them both and by the chance Dzeko loses his form or gets injured (touch wood), everyone will be breathing a great sigh of relief when Tevez starts bagging the goals.

We have a squad of luxury, the type of squad you need to compete in all competitions. It's Mancini's job to keep them all happy.

Forget what happened in the off season with Tevez, only football matters now. Get behind him, i bet he will be scoring some crucial games for us again this season with his 100% workrate.

I will state again that I think he is a fantastic player - always was always will be and I agree he has been one of our best ever players, however his remarks have backfired big time ! Bobby made plans to replace him but he is still here, only for the fact that no one could afford him. Does anyone think he is as happy as a pig in shit that he never got the move he craved ? Has he released a statement saying he is happy to extend his "holiday" by a further 5 months here ? If reports are to believed then his relationship with Bobby is fractious to say the least and his attitude OFF the pitch will do him no favours at all.
He will get game time, but absolutely no way will he be the first name on the team sheet and no way will he play more games than Kun or Dzeko unless one of them gets injured.
If he starts more than half the games he is available for between now and January I will admit I was talking shite :)

January transfers are always at a premium. I have a hunch that Madrid will be trailing Barca by 3 points and will be prepared to spunk huge money to bridge the gap. That's when we get our £50million!!

Him staying is like a new signing, only player with a champions league medal in our squad, that european experience is vital.

Yaya, Balo, Hargreaves have one each. Clichy and Kolo have runner up ones as well if you're being picky!

Think a lot of people have let the saga cloud their minds. Carlos Tevez is one of the best in the world, no ifs about it, he wont be benched, he will get plenty of games this season.

you are right it has clouded my mind so what fuck him

we should use him as needed he is the 3rd choice striker at best now so he will get sat down and will come in on rotation

nothing wrong with the thread he has committed professional suicide

no one wants a bar of him now as he,s a prima donna who wants to leave every 18 months and upsets a squad

couple that with his wages and even if his price gets discounted there will be bugger all clubs wanting him

It's a no lose situation for the team. Hopefully the next 5 months will allow him to refocus and his family situation is obviously on the improve so I still harbour a hope he will stay as I think he deserves to be remembered for his unbelievable talent rather than the silly buggers that kia has manipulated him into. If not I will always be grateful for helping us get to a position where the aguero's and nasri's of our side are with us and provide the solution if he leaves.

While i think Tevez is a fantastic player i am GLAD as a club we now have the financial clout and growing reputation to fuck off the whiners and prima donna's and replace them if we have to.

You want to go?....Great...we go out and sign Aguero the guy who is keeping you out of the national team.....see you later!

Macini did the same to Bellamy when people were up in arms saying he was irreplacable....result? Third place in the table and the FA cup!

Ferguson never put up with any challenge to his authority and look at the success he has had. These whiners will now learn the hard way NO ONE is bigger than our club. Take the piss and you are out, period! De Jong take note.

Mancini is charged with winning football matches. It'll be his suicide if we drop points an' Tevez remains on the bench, unused.

Well he won't. If we are losing he will obviously fetch him on.
