If this is true I will be absolutely gutted about this.
As others mentioned already I believe he is irreplaceable.

Calm down....such a queen.

vicky please let us real fans no whats goin on be 4 the gutters try to kill us!! ashton NEVER come to city you fucka

Joorabchian is poison and with how this story has leaked, suddenly a lot now makes sense with the constant stream of stories the press seem to have had.

Can't believe some of the 'please don't go carlos, we love you' shite on this thread - have we learnt nothing from how he left the rags and the ammunition it gave us? the photoshop boys and girls will have a field day with this, don't give them any more

This all seems pretty official but the day was always coming - I trust in Mancini, not Tevez - though it does sting, we move on

Loving all the tweets by Stretfords saying how pleased they are Tev's leaving. Proof beyond doubt they're shitting themselves about us as title rivals. Unfortunately for them, we have the money to replace Tev - and WE WILL replace him. In fact, wasn't Silva recently talking up David Villa about joining him at City?

But we shouldn't sell Tevez to any European side that'll be a main CL rival in the coming years. If he's homesick, then we send him back to Boca Juniors, nowhere else. And if they can't afford him - long-term loan deal.

Other than that, make him the highest-paid footballer in the world and give him one week's holiday every month to fly back to Argentina. I know that's special treatment, and I'm against all that shit, but I'd much rather keep him than say goodbye to such a great player and workhorse.

And I never believed that website interview earlier in the week. He wasn't convincing, but that's easy to say in hindsight now the truth's out.

even the Guardian is reporting this. I'd trust them more than tabloid papers...
I hope it's not true, Tevez has been excellent for us.

At least we will have the money to buy a replacement if need be, I'm just not sure who that would be....

They've just had Burton on SSN and he's said its down to Tevez being pissed off with Mancini and the fact he misses his daughters.

You're having a life. What an ungrateful little..

I'm in two minds. One mind where you think he's replaceable, let him leave, we can always buy someone else.

But the dominating part of me is just really annoyed, it just shows the complete lack of loyalty. We couldn't pay him more, play him more, he's captain, he's adored by the fans. What possible more demands can he make? There's nothing more we can do. Or should have to do.

If it's about his family, fine, I get it, at the end of the football is just a job, it's just a game and you come home to them, they are your priority. They are you're family. So if this is genuinely, and not just a blatant excuse, about putting his family first and all that, fine.

But for me it sounds like him just throwing a bit of a tantrum.
Which sums up the worst side of football, the lack of loyalty, the fact that most players don't give a crap about what team they play for. There was always something off about the fact that he had no problem switching from the dark side to here. And now he shows his lack of loyalties yet again.

I hope it's a rumour, but if it isn't..first it is him being tired of football, now it's this. It will really lower my lack of respect for him more so. He might work hard on the pitch, but his lack of loyalty is startling.
