Carlos hands in transfer request

Well that makes no sense, surely they'd rather have released it before the WHU game so it destabilised us and there's we don't go joint top in the first place?
 
If this is true, it totally changes my perception of Tevez. And this isn't some feelings hurt nonsense that normally occurs when a player hands in a transfer request.

Mancini asked him flat out in April if he wanted to be here. By saying "yes", he committed himself to this club for a year at least. We had a chance in the summer to get a replacement, and his answer to us was 'no, don't do that, I'll be here.' To not even make it to Christmas before reneging on that promise is a shocking lack of character.

He could have waited until at least May before doing this and we would have shook hands and parted amicably. He couldn't even wait until fucking January.

I expected this to come. I did. But not months after the transfer window closed our chance to replace him. That's practically attempted sabotage.
 
if he's that homesick why has he handed in a transfer request? that would suggest he wants a move to another club which is surely bollocks as he stated under a week ago that he was happy in manchester....he's lived up here getting on for 4 yrs now hasn't he, wouldn't a move to madrid and having to settle in a new country and house and everything be the very worse thing he could possibly do to try and rid him of homesickness? just quit and go back home to argentina if your that homesick wouldn't you.....him wanting a move could only be down to his relationship with mancini and him constantly getting substituted...but then you hear the stories of his disillusionment with football so if he didn't enjoy it why does he look the happiest man on earth after scoring a goal? and why is he getting fucked off coming off the pitch if he hates football and the system/tactics mancini plays? you'd be happy to not have to endure anymore of the thing you hate wouldn't you.....none of what the papers report make sense to me as it's usually blown out of all proportion and considering most of the article links in this thread are quoting 'unnamed sources' who are 'close' to carlos then i would suggest that this is of similar substance as 99% of the shit they print on a daily basis. i thought the interview with carlos on the site last week would put a stop to the tevez wants to leave stories but then at mancini's press conference before the west ham game some journo prick asked him about it again and was given the answer that tevez would be here for many years.....yet here, just a day later, we are again!!!!..........if he's going then fuckin tell us he's going if he isn't then somebody at the club put a fuckin stop to these rumours because it's getting ridiculous now.
 
Tevez is staying at Manchester City

the only reason the press have said he has put in a written transfer request is because he said one day he would like to return to his family and sees himself finishing his career in Argintina.

I promise everyone of you Tevez is staying at Manchester City Football Club!

I reckon he'll play against Everton

Above all else he'll want to play football, and as long as he's playithisng for the team and giving everything while he wears the shirt, I don't mind.

Difficult to guess at the background, but seems to me that the club have bent over backwards to help him. He should really have kept this in house
