Determined, positive attitude. Fantasic first touch, brilliant control and balance. Good pace and strong in posession -with a unique eye for goal. Endless effort, and he even tackles back.

Apart from making him taller, I can see no way to improve on Carlos Tevez.

Maybe it was just me but he didn't look himself today, didn't seem 100% happy for some reason.

From the off you could see him trying his balls off and he led by example for the most part today. Tired and drifted out of it a bit in the 2nd half but that's to be expected what with the Juve game on Thursday. Immense talent

Indeed

One thing you always get from Tevez is maximum effort.

He's just a player with great talent that you can trust. And that's a very rare thing.

Crackin' player, he's like a cross between Captain Caveman and the Duracell bunny but, as much as I love watching him, the complete footballer he ain't. Great touch the vast majority of the time, great drive and a wonderful dribbler, his off the ball movement often infuriates me though and he could have better peripheral vision when he's on the ball.

i thought this and put it down to frustration within the team play still gave 120% and being given the captains armband has made him an even more important player than last season.

I think he was frustrated a bit today but what a player we have! Still can't believe it sometimes!

What was with his celebration, who did he run over to on the bench?
