Confirmed again yesterday. Loads of energy spent chasing down the keeper which might work once a season (like at the derby) but when the ball comes to him to do what he is paid for (score) he scuffs his shot or blasts it over the bar.

The bloke can't kick the ball had enough and unbalances the side.

Other than Barry who is usually sat back and Adebayor the front six is just too small and lacking in physical presence. The only option when we want to be more direct when we play more direct is Adebayor. The only other team with such a lack of size is Arsenal and we are miles off their technical ability.

We need some physical power in the team AND size. Watch Chelsea cut through us and bully us when we play them.

Back four a shambles.

he needs dropping... but hughes obviously wont drop a summer buy (especially if there is any truth in the 47m thing)

I'm pretty sure Tevez single handidly kept West Ham in the League a few years back. The team as a whole isn't playing well, so its no good scapegoating one player.

And to describe him as the "new Paul Dickov" is just nonsense. Tevez has more ability in his left testicle than Dickov ever had.

Of course he is a better player but similar in many ways. No goal threat but busy.

Not singling him out as the back four is also a big problem but when you pay what we did for a creative attacking player you expect a lot more.

It could be a cyst, but if still unsure consult with your doctor.

Hang about mate... aren't you the same person that started another thread defending Hughes to the hilt?

Yet here you are now slagging Tevez as a waste of £25m, the back four a "shambles"(another mere £60m) and somehow that isn't the responsibility of the manager?

Jeez.

So his signings are crap... but he's doing a great job. How apropriate that today is Remembrance Sunday, 'cos hopefully you remember to at least be consistent with your threads!!!

So he's a good player in a bad relegation material side?

We bought him to piss off the rags and some love that.

I think the biggest problem with tevez is Hughes has moulded the team to him, rather then fitting him into the team. I know he isn't a conventional winger like a Petrov or a SWP or a Weiss, but I think he'd be far more effective in a 4-5-1/4-3-3 setup playing to the right of Adebayor with Bellamy on the Left (Or alternates SWP and Petrov). Playing 4-4-2 to fit him in is currently killing us and his efforts are very much in vain as he is in many ways making our problems far more apparent.
