Great player but would be glad to see the back of him.

I said in another thread he's just not the same player he was before his golfing holiday. He was never very quick but that explosiveness has disappears too, he still has the strength to keep the ball but always ends up turning round in circles and playing an easy lay off because he can't run away from anyone these days. By the time he's done that the opposition have 10 men behind the ball again and you're back to square one with the ball eventually ending back up at Kompany or Nastastics feet. It would also mean that Aguero would be freed up to play just off a striker rather than up front on his own like he does for 90% of the game when Tevez plays.
I think the opposite. He's a better player now!
More of a team player. He was so much in the spotlight after his golfing trip he has had to change. In the past he tried to do it all himself, he rarely passed to the likes of Dzeko.
I think he has got fitter, sharper and matured as a player.
I understand why we might sell him at this stage of his contract, but I still contend, people under estimate him.

He plays in a deeper role now, but I think he's more effective. He isn't the poaching striker in the system (a la Suarez) but I think he could bag more if he was higher up the pitch.

I think the addition of a South American manager could see Tevez enjoy a bit of a revival.

He is fiercely patriotic and going into a World Cup year, as Vinny has stated with regards the rest of the squad, that is a potent mix.

Tevez's wages cost us nothing and I think he has been superb for us in the latter part of the season in terms of his effort levels.

I thought you hinted it would not be Pellegrini yesterday?
I might be wrong though!

Stop it.....I'm confused now!!!

Carlos would very hard to replace, 100% players of his calibre are very expensive or hard to get hold of. A kind od DeJong in attack.

I agree. He's done very well this season and been absolutely silent in the media, which is a big plus for him. He's getting older but still offers a lot to the team, I would be sorry to lose him.

Confirmation from Di Marzio that Begiristain met with Monaco chiefs in Monte Carlo yesterday and offered Tevez and Dzeko. They don't seem interested in Dzeko, probably because they are signing Falcao, but like Tevez.

After Falcao and (perhaps) Moutinho and Capoue, Monaco continues to be the protagonist of this early market. Yesterday at Monte Carlo went on stage a meeting with Manchester City, between the two ds Pecini and Beguiristain: Spanish brought the badges of Tevez and Dzeko, who evidently do not fall in the plans of Pellegrini. Their assignment could then be used to invest on another great striker, leads to the identikit Suarez or Cavani. But Monaco, after closing for Falcao, now needs to invest more in other roles and therefore the appointment did not end with agreements already defined nor for the Argentine neither for the Bosnian. Between the two, such as features, definitely more like Carlitos: in the coming days, could in fact be a new meeting with Argentine agents to evaluate the feasibility of the operation.
