Carragher spits at fan / now prank on g neville backfires

No way. He’s done. Cannot see any way back for him.

Agreed.

Once the Sky lawyers point out to their HR department that it is a reasonably serious criminal offence, they will have to sack him. Otherwise they set a precedent for future employees who commit criminal offences and open themselves up to an employment law nightmare.

Road rage is an aggravating feature. And magistrates and district judges will very much take that into account.

Are you saying that common assualt is worse in the context of road rage rather than say just an altercation between two people on the street? Not sure where you’re trying to go with this one....

Yes, a road rage assault is more serious than an assault in a street. But it is less serious than in an assault in domestic setting or on someone serving the public - traffic warden, conductor etc.

THe point is that it is an aggravating factor and makes him going to prison more likely if it were to go to court.

I think that spitting, in law at least, is seen as being capable of killing and causing serious injury (Hep, HIV, etc.) and that is why spit is treated as a weapon.

I am not sure Carra is justified in spitting at the child because the man is filming him.

I doubt that Caragher has HIV or Aids, so we need to keepthis in context. Spitting, except in extreme circumstances and as yet unheard of English law, does not kill, driving whilst using your phone to film somebody who is alongside you does.

Not according to the law. Spit is a weapon. Simple as that.

Kirsty Gallagher. Merson. George thompson. All kept their jobs with Sky after being charged with drink driving.

Which offence is worse?

Spitting has never killed or seriously injured anyone. driving whilst filming sideways and not concentrating on the road has. I know you see people on their phones every day, usually thought they are looking straight ahead, this small brained idiot isn't otherwise Carragher would not be in full shot. He is driving and filming which is just about as stupid as you can get, well to most people it is anyway.

I don't for one second think he was driving permanently looking to his side, daft and dangerous though non the less.
