Yeah, I agree with that. A player spitting at an opponent is always condemned more than one trying to break an opponents’s leg, oddly. As vile as it is, I’d prefer the former myself.

Me too. Can’t understand anyone who picks the other way round. Being subject to physical violence is objectively likely to cause you harm. Being spat at, much less so. It’s just social conditioning. There’s no logical reason to prefer being spat at, rather than having your leg broken.
