Seen Ian Brown in there a few times as well
curry goat is shit in there its more like chinese curry

Curried goat from Buzzrocks is good IMO, but it's not as good as Sam Sam's on Greenhey's Lane (just up from Asda Hulme, going towards Boundary Lane).

Used to go in Buzz Rocks 20 years ago, when we were DJing on pirate radio from a tower block in Hulme (Love Energy/Energy L'amour 96.5 fm).
They were one of the advertisers whose cassette tape we had to play every half an hour.
Even back then, the chicken was legendary but the curry was shit.
The guy who used to run the gaff was a headcase and all, like a patois Basil Fawlty. Worth the money just to watch him losing it, fucking madness.
Big birds in Longsight was a bit 'meh' last time I went, but these places open and shut on a regular basis down there.
There was even a hideously overpriced jerk stall on the Christmas Markets in Piccadilly Gardens.
Ive been told a nice old lady is running a decent sit-down gaff in leve but never been in.

I used to live a few doors down from there but it was an Indian takeaway back then. Back round there over the weekend, might give it a try.

Fucking hell, is that place still going?
Fair play. Used to go to school with a lad whose uncle owned that, I think the shop moved around the Moss/Whalley/Hulme a bit in them days
