if you watch the replays it was going wide before it hit the defender's leg then it bounced back off the post and onto carson's head so it's probably "technically" the right decision.

If it was on target, and he got a hand to it, or it was deflected it would have been his goal. It wasnt on target intially, got deflected onto the post, came back into play and hit the keeper on the noggin and went in!
