CAS judgement: UEFA ban overturned, City exonerated (report out p603)

Two desperate men, if Pinto had slam dunk information on City why has he held it back to now and didn’t sell it to Der Spiegal? Methinks it’s a bluff to delay the book being thrown at him for being a blackmailer.

I have no idea how he is allowed to tweet if he's under house arrest and some form of witness protection.

Bit like their dad, Rolf.
Fallen flat apart from the Mail and Harris revamped story of old newd not mentioned on any other main stteam media outlets. Another attempt to divert the fact we are about to signed big named players to continue our dominance . No further post from me on the subject because this is the exactly what Harris is wanting for us to get our knickers in a twist about sad and tired old news. Also apparently his own company is in financial difficulties from what I've heard so let's hope he's homeless soon !

This…. How to make an attention seeker who knows fuck all - feel important.

As PB has said we can't just ignore it and hope it goes away. Unless he's lurking here, which he probably is, then he won't know we're talking about it. But as it's a football forum and it's our club under attack for the umpteenth time, of course we're going to discuss it.

If we have to stop talking about our club just to stop some random knobhead from feeling important I'd rather he feel important.

Not talking about the club affects me, whether Nick Harris feels important or not I don't give a toss.

I'd guess Harris needs the money as his Sporting Intelligence company is dormant. It may also be that he's been put up to it by the usual suspects. The Mail aren't going to cast a critical eye over this, in the way that me and others have. They don't know FFP from shit but they think Harris does. All they see is clicks from Liverpool & United fans and we know the lengths they'll go to to get those. No one else has touched this, whereas normally they'd be all over an "exclusive", rehashing it for their own papers. Yet nada, which tells me that every other so-called "quality" paper sees this as embarrassing nonsense. The Mail, sadly, isn't capable of embarrassment.

The only worry I've got over this is that our US-owned friends are using the same tactics that have served them so well over the years at UEFA. Threaten a breakaway to get what you want. That tactic got us the 2-season ban in the first place after all. And the clubs have shown that the threat is real, following the abortive Super League announcement. The lines are drawn in that battle now and any future breakaway effectively means the end of the PL as a major sporting competition and commercial entity.

We already know that FSG are not just amoral, but totally immoral. The Glazers are just plain dumb and will go along with whatever John Henry tells them. So it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if their grubby prints were all over this and that's the reason we started the legal fight, complaining about impartiality and handing over documents, which we knew would fall straight into the hands of our enemies.
Is there such thing as a 'quality' paper?

They are all piles of bitter shite.

And I loved your response to nobhead Harris on twitter, brilliant read.

For me, this is the key. The Premier League controls its own processes. There is, as I understand it, no recourse to CAS, only, in exceptional circumstances, to the High Court.

Since the Premier League, in turn, is controlled by clubs who all have something to gain out of financially ruining City there will be nothing fair about the process at all. Anyone who thinks they will find "no case to answer" is, I'm afraid, mistaken.

In my opinion, this one is going to run for years yet.

There is always recourse in law.
