CAS judgement: UEFA ban overturned, City exonerated (report out p603)

Having worked for American owners, they do seem to have a weird view on the world. Much like the UK did back in the 1860's. They don't seem to understand that you have to pay people decent wages in the UK. It is very much, what cash are you sending us this month, and how much can i leverage the business for, so I can pocket that as well.

Its the land of the free as long as you are white and very rich. By free they mean the law doesn’t apply to them. Over here they know that the rules do apply to them so let’s lobby everyone until it’s changed.

So the righteous holy and saintly arsenal preach at us for owner investment! Hmm

Arsenal are facing a deficit of 90 million this year and the interest on their 200 million plus loans are inxs of 10million.

So under FFP it’s ok for their majority shareholder to pay off the loans for them even if it’s still it a loan?

Unsurprisingly The Athletics article leads with the idea of Pep disrespecting Arsenal.

Not at all from the POV of City and how they’ve been treated by them in recent times.

Sam Lee at it again?

I can’t say but here’s a section. Gotta love the derogatory tone.

As is so often the case, an idea popped into Pep Guardiola’s head and he couldn’t resist saying it. He had been discussing the prospect of facing Watford and Norwich as preparation for Real Madrid when he went off on a tangent to get something off his chest.

It is the kind of comment that will attract plenty of headlines because it is, quite literally and very unapologetically, a lack of respect for another Premier League club.

Guardiola’s tendency to speak his mind has regularly been a problem for Manchester City’s communications department
