Cassano again.(Merged)

Re: Cassa-No Contact.

Cassano is great...reputation for being the ultimate troublemaker though, mainly because he's said to trash talk players on the pitch all the time. Crazy how much he reminds me of Bellamy, they even look a bit alike with all the tattoos. As I said Cassano is a great striker though, probably Sampdorias best player and certainly their star.

Antonio Cassano

I read the other week that this guy is a real favourite of Mncini's and judging by what I have managed to view on youtube, looks like a younger, faster, more balanced version of Craig Bellamy, whilst still being very aggressive and difficult to knock of the ball.
I hope its true about Mancini's interest and admiration for this guy, because he looks mustard!

Think most will agree that he would be immense for us, and I reckon the money involved would be a lot more reasonable than for some other forward options.

Re: Antonio Cassano

I know some may say he is also a trouble causing brat, in a very similar way to Bellamy, but I guess, as with Hughes, Mancini is the type of manager to handle players with this kind of temperament.

Re: Antonio Cassano

He does look good gfrom the vid but would like to see robi have another go under bobby

Re: Antonio Cassano

Technically (control, dribbling, passing) he is in a different league to Bellamy, he's closer to Robinho in that regard, but bellamy is quicker and more deadly in the box, IMO

Re: Antonio Cassano

I do hope we sign him.

But reading between the lines Mancini looks like he can handle that sort of a character, which should well mean that he can keep Bellers in check (to an extent).

Re: Antonio Cassano

There was a story last week suggesting mancini would be in for him, but Sampdoria ruled it out
