What is starting to be a watershed for Antonio Cassano. For the life and career. But if the private point of view the great choice has already been made (June 19 will marry her Carolina), And professional horizon is the great dilemma: to remain at SampIn Genoa and take root in the city where it was found or catch the last tram for great things. A Streetcar Named Manchester City,

Although no official step has yet been made, as reported by the same to Sampdoria MarottaThe road to the squadron of the sheikhs was opened by the arrival on the bench of Maine Road Roberto ManciniHas always been leader of the estimators of Fantantonio. The termination clause that releases Antonio Cassano by Sampdoria at any time is always there, is always fixed at 20 million, a price easily accessible to the pockets of Mansour bin Zayed and maybe increased to get rid of any competitors (read Inter).

The City of probable future seasons leading British and European, will not wait much. And Cassano will in the first few months of many things: the prospects SampdoriaThe fate of a project that will still remain anchored at levels other than those set by Citizens, the evolution of the relationship Of Blacks and with society. And certainly the personal expectations, the intention to get back into play as a man: the move to England just married, a country with customs and traditions very different from the Italians. The desire, it seeps from his entourage, there is. From 1 January onwards, will begin the season of great decisions.

Interesting, cheers bud

Re: Antonio Cassano

Brilliant - a street car named Manchester City. Quality.

I've changed my mind. I want him. Will a move to England persuade Lippi to pick him for the World Cup?

Decisions eh!

As it stands he isn't going to go to SA. But if he continues playing like he is, maybe it would be too hard for Lippi to ignore him. On the other hand what if he came here and didn't settle? He'd certainly miss out on SA then.

Tough one. Very good player though. Technically quite brilliant. Bit of a nutter mind.

Antonio Cassano Reaches Sampdoria/Manchester City Crossroad - Report
Cassano is pondering a link up with Mancini at Eastlands, according to Italian media...

Sampdoria striker Antonio Cassano has some tough decisions to make from now until the summer as Manchester City are lurking in the background and ready to offer him a lucrative deal to join them.

According to Sportmediaset.it, Cassano is pondering the idea of joining up with former Doria striker Roberto Mancini at Eastlands.

The report claims City are ready to help 'Mancio' lure the Italian who is well liked by their new coach.

It is unknown as to whether any dialogue has been sparked into life between the clubs. But, a €20 million offer from the Premier League outfit will be the catalyst in accelerating a move, as such an investment plan will meet Sampdoria's asking price.

Jose Mourinho's Inter are also thought to be interested in moving for the controversial front man, but Sheik Mansour bin Zayed's hefty wallet is likely to see off any competition.

Rumours suggest Cassano will need to think quickly as City are not prepared to wait around. The clock will start ticking from January 1 when the transfer market opens up for some winter wheeling and dealing.

LMAO, A streetcar named manchester city!! I have changed my mind now aswell.

I do remember when he joined Real Madrid, apparently he just upped and left italy, his team mates found out when they saw him at the Barnabeu unveiling! He is a total nutter but then again so is Bellars and right now he´s one of our best performers.

I wonder would Aguero or Zarate offer that same level but with less ´nutter´risk attached? Also, I often doubt Italian players cuz their league really has gone down a level in terms of competitiveness and quality...but for 20mil it´s pocket money for the Sheik,

Make it happen, and while I´m here, for the record. GET COOK OUT.
