My first ever city shirt, that. Saved and paid for from my paper round Xmas tips.
My last ever city shirt. I used to play 5 a side in it. Happy days.

I've been going since 1976 and the only time I ever wore a City shirt to the match was the Wembley 1981 Cup final. I also worse a full City tracksuit, flat cap, rosette and 2 scarves (one around the wrist). I still have the photos.
The book title should be in the same font as the 'brother' on the shirt. For that reason I'm out.Started reading this yesterday. Only a few chapters in, but it's already a great read. Would definitely recommend it. All about City during the 1990s.

Down amongst the dead men is a superb read .Yeah, there's plenty of insights behind the scenes and it's really well written. Far better than some of the fodder that's been published about the club in recent years. It's a superior City book, up there with Down Amongst The Dead Men and Gary James' stuff.
My ex still has that top, which she wore to the Liverpool relegation game in 1996.My first ever city shirt, that. Saved and paid for from my paper round Xmas tips.
There’s no way you bought it out of paper round money though....My ex still has that top, which she wore to the Liverpool relegation game in 1996.
