Cavan Sullivan

remember freddy adu?
Sullivan is a lot more talented than Adu.

Not to say he’ll make it, that will depend on a host of factors. But Adu was always on a hiding to nothing. He was a physically gifted and technically half decent teenager amongst a bunch of amateur level youngsters in the US system at the time. Sullivan is at least as talented as some of the most talented players in his age group around Europe.

This was posted last weekend

I only saw it before the derby due to this...

I only just remembered it after that angin game and I was curious to see what else was mentioned on here about it, not seen anything else said from his visit and even though it's probably just routine thought I'd share for those who missed it.

I'm wondering why he's holding up a number 6 shirt when it's Ake's number? Maybe it has a significant personal meaning to him but who knows.

Cavan Sullivan is reportedly set to travel to England this week to participate in a training camp with Manchester City, according to Fabrizio Romano. Sullivan, 15, signed the largest homegrown deal in MLS history last summer, while becoming the youngest player to debut in MLS.

His contract with the Philadelphia Union includes a clause that, upon turning 18, he will sign for City in the English Premier League. These will be crucial first steps for Sullivan with the Premier League team.

He’ll be straight on loan and we’ll never see him again

his brother is a pretty good player, us international, 21, might do a job in europe, so the kid has good genes at least. surprised city didnt find a way to play him for the new york team but considering their pitch, it might not be a bad thing

I hope it works out but I can’t help that it does feel weird buying 14 year olds, particularly those from other countries

My son told me he played for the City under 19’s against psg recently, 5 3 win and did well? Couldn’t see anything about it in here?

“Halftime, PSG 2 - 3 Manchester City

The Parisian U19s dominated but were surprised by a counterattack (17th minute) and two corners (24th minute, 52nd minute).

⚽️ Aymen Assab, No. 6 (29th minute)
⚽️ Elijah Ly, No. 11 (55th minute on free kick).

Friendly match in 4 x 30 minutes”

Scored off 2 corners? Can’t be right
