So let me get this right...

You're wanting to sell a slack arse, plus two proven, consistent PL forwards the summer

This in order in order to sign two players who are very good in their respective leagues at present, but are untried and untested at PL level, leaving Aguero and the largely untested Guidetti to help ease them into the squad as partners?

Tripe IMHO
Aguero and silva werent tried and tested but they more than payed off whereas nasri who was tried and tested has not delivered at all

From the looks of it Cavani is going Real Madrid and Falcao is off to Chelsea with Mourinho. On the other hand we would be able to sign jovetic and Sanchez for the price of one of them.

I think jovetic and sanchez together would be a bigger (more impactive) and better transfer than just 1 of them ... actually now that I am thinking about it would much rather prefer these 2 together over any 1 of them.. a lot more diversity and effectiveness on the field!

We could sign Sanchez and Jovetic, sure, both are very talented players. But I thought the whole point of our striker pursuit was to buy someone very clinical to replace Mario and Dzeko. Both Sanchez and Jovetic score goals but they won't give you the one every 1 1/2 games that Falcao and Cavani do (even with his current goal drought Cavani has 18 goals in 24 games this season which is a better rate than even Van Persie who has 19 in 28). Unless we fill the team with "15 a season" players to share the load.

Whoever we sign they, like LC states, need to be a real finisher.

We also need a deep lying playmaker and some quality width.

So,whoever comes into those categories......

With Dzeko an balo gone - I'm sure whoever we get will be tall to give us a slightly different dimension to sergio and tevez

which is some 1 like dzeko rofl.. which makes the disi to get rid of him bonkers.
No it isn't bonkers.

We are not going to change our game to suit him and he can't change to suit us so best for him to be sold.

If Cavani and Falcao are off the table then Jovetic and Higuian or Benzema would be a great signing. One of them two has to be leaving if they are getting Cavani as they will have Callejon, Morata, Cavani, Ronaldo.Di Maria, Higuian, Benzema and throw in Ozil as well.

I still belive our main problem is not the strikers its the supply. spend the money to fix the lethargic midfield and wing play and watch us win the league again.
