Napoli’s Cavani In Real Madrid Player Swap?

Spanish giants could tempt Napoli into letting go of their star-striker, Edinson Cavani, by offering Portuguese international Fabio Coentrao in exchange.

Although Cavani has a sell-out clause set at €63 million, Madrid don’t seem keen on spending that much on the Uruguayan

Instead, reports suggest that Los Blancos could offer Napoli Coentrao alongside any cash deal.

Cavani is a wanted man all over the continent, with Manchester City known to be interested in his services.

However, the former Palermo man has previously stated his preference for playing for either Barcelona or Real Madrid, if he did happen to one day leave Napoli.

If the move were to go ahead, Cavani would be the latest Galactico to join an already impressive front-line, which includes the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema, Mesut Özil, Gonzalo Higuain, Kaká and ángel Di María.

Both will definitely move this summer and i don't see barca, united or bayern signing one of the pair. Can only see it being out of us, Chelsea, Madrid and PSG (doubt they'll want to play in russia).

I don't see enough of Cavani to comment. Is he really all that? As good as Falcao? I remember how dangerous he was in the CL against us last year. He looked quality, but i can't base my opinion on 2 games played over a year ago.

Falcao on the other hand is alongside RVP as the deadliest strikers in Europe... If there's even a hint of a hint that he could be available in the summer then we need to have Bobby, Vieira, Txiki, Soriano, Khaldoon and even HRH Mansour himself having sleep overs at this guys house from now until the moment he signs... Because every club on the planet with money to spend will be in for him.

Actually Suarez is the best striker atm Form wise. i believe Falco is in a mini slump.

I reckon Jackson Martinez will be there next buy.

Wouldn't be a bad move for us either but if we are selling Dzrko and Tevez then we need a ready made player like a Cavani or Falcao.

As for other strikers I really rate Higuian and if Real spend this summer then he could leave. Especially if they buy Cavani.

Hope we don't get Cavani. His work-rate is commendable, but i prefer slightly more technical strikers like Falcao (who is respectable technique wise, not a Jovetic or RVP of course, but better than Dzeko)...
