I reckon Jackson Martinez will be there next buy.

Wouldn't be a bad move for us either but if we are selling Dzrko and Tevez then we need a ready made player like a Cavani or Falcao.

As for other strikers I really rate Higuian and if Real spend this summer then he could leave. Especially if they buy Cavani.

Higuain will leave madrid this summer, no question. Its just who to.

It would not suprise me at all Madrid offering Spurs Higuain + cash for Bale.

If Spurs keep Bale and can get hold of a striker like Higuain, or maybe even Jackson Martinez, along with a few squad tweaks and additions they will be a real force next season.

Spurs are in my opinion a 25-30 goal a season striker away from having a very formidable starting eleven.

If they sell Bale they'll need a winger as well. Can't see a Holtby/Lennon partnership as a title contender.

What do Real Madrid want him for? Where is he going to play, surely not as a #10 playing behind a striker, or a spare right winger, or a central midfielder as a deep-lying playmaker, or a spare right back? LOL. For some reasons, there are too many people on this forum who so desperately want to sell the Welshman.

If Mancini stays, I prefer Cavani.
It is not easy to score goals in Serie A. He may be more successful in our prem than Falcao.

Cavani is back to goalscoring form, two goals today after having a drought for 8 games (longest since he became a Napoli player)

"Overrated" Cavani. 3 goals in his last 10 games.

"Difference making reason United have won the league" Van Persie. 1 goal in his last 10 games.

Point made earlier in this thread that goal droughts happen but the best strikers always come back from them as both of these will do. Falcao may be more potent but if we can't get him Cavani would be a good signing for us too.

balotelli has now scored 7 in 6. far poorer league than england
