Funny how Ive ripped my own team and management on this forum, but am somehow a snake when it comes to city.

Like I said, dont care.

If you think Cavani is guaranteed yours, and Napoli are creaming to bring in Dzeko, then good on ya. If you guys think you're going to spend 150m this summer to also bring in jovetic, fernandinho, alcantara and vidal, double good on ya.

Oh, but let's complain about Monaco not respecting FFP.

End of august, we'll see..
You are a rag; lupo

That's if they are your team...

You seem to act as TRansfer Forum cop, all things Italian and put City fans in places. Fact of the matter is nobody knows what's going to happen. Napoli got Edinson to sign a contract with high buyout and us and Madrid will want to pay less. I reckon £45m is a price they'll take Dzeko+Cash is ideal for both parties. Dzeko will prosper from more games and being no.1. watch him at Wolfsburg, there's good reason for us buying him. IMO he's better all rounder than Mario and I saw Mario as no.4 player. Dzeko needs confidence and he will smash the declining league that is Serie A a new one.

Beasley the wanker has an 'exclusive'. Except his release clause is significantly lower than £60m I'm pretty sure. But this is MONEYBAGS CITY~! after all and his wages will no doubt be a WORLD RECORD £650,000 PER WEEK if we sign him.

MANCHESTER CITY are in a straight scrap with Real Madrid for the signature of £60million striker Edinson Cavani.

Chelsea have pulled out of the bidding for the Napoli superstar after discovering the total cost of a five-year-deal would be a staggering £100m — including £8m-a-year in wages for the Uruguayan ace.

And Cavani, 26, is said to be ‘lukewarm’ on a move to new French champions Paris Saint-Germain, even though the Qatari-backed club have the cash to seal such a mega deal.

All this leaves City and the Spanish giants to slug it out for goal-machine Cavani, who hit an astonishing 36 goals in 41 appearances for his Serie A side this season.

City chiefs hope Bosnian striker Edin Dzeko will be the key to completing the swoop.

They have held talks with the Italians over a swap deal, which would keep down the fee, and also take an existing big-money earner off the payroll.

But the fear at City is the glamour and appeal of joining Real Madrid, the world’s most famous and successful club, could yet sway Cavani’s final decision.

Pah, who in their right mind would choose Real over CITY? deluded I tell ya!

Still think we should keep dzeco to be honest, but cant resist either cavani or Falcao.

Something makes me doubt that figure. Maybe the fact that it is fucking ludicrous.

SPORT in Spain says Cavani has a pre-agreement with Real Madrid (as he probably does with us). They point out though that it doesn't mean the player will go there, only that he's willing to go there, and also say that Real Madrid are only willing to offer £34million - an offer we can surely blow out the water with or without Dzeko included?

Hopefully that's true. £34 million will get them nowhere near Cavani. Napoli wanted £50 million from us in 2011 and Cavani's stock has risen considerably since then. However any deal is structured, it will be worth around £50 million.

Re: Cavani Speculation/News

chelsea were never in the running for cavani so rob beasley continues to look like a fucking idiot kfa... it was always going to be between madrid and us. lets put it this way madrid aren't going to be able to afford cavani and isco unless they offload higuain along with 1 or 2 other big players
