I'm 100 per cent not ITK but Beasley is very very close to Chelsea (Roman's people wrIte his column for him most days) so this may be them announcing they are out of the Cavani race - if (of course) they were ever in it.

Someone said earlier - having spunked 50m on Torres Roman has convinced himself he'll come good - which of course he won't. Torres is finished at the highest level.

If you think Cavani is guaranteed yours, and Napoli are creaming to bring in Dzeko, then good on ya. If you guys think you're going to spend 150m this summer to also bring in jovetic, fernandinho, alcantara and vidal, double good on ya.

Oh, but let's complain about Monaco not respecting FFP.

You seem to act as TRansfer Forum cop, all things Italian and put City fans in places. Fact of the matter is nobody knows what's going to happen. Napoli got Edinson to sign a contract with high buyout and us and Madrid will want to pay less. I reckon £45m is a price they'll take Dzeko+Cash is ideal for both parties. Dzeko will prosper from more games and being no.1. watch him at Wolfsburg, there's good reason for us buying him. IMO he's better all rounder than Mario and I saw Mario as no.4 player. Dzeko needs confidence and he will smash the declining league that is Serie A a new one.

No and no to the last two assertions.

I'm really hopeful for several reasons that Cavani comes here. Fingers are crossed.

People on here are getting ridiculous. ACM is a great poster and gives some good insight from someone outside the club. Just because he might not think we are absolutely getting Cavani or if we do we won't swap Dzeko doesn't mean hes a shitty poster or is completely wrong. People need to lay the fuck off, this is almost getting embarrassing... having said that I hope to God we get Cavani :)

would be a massive statement of intent to get cavani, not only to the premier league but also across Europe! absolute beast of a player and the thought of potentially aguero, cavani, tevez and silva in the same side is bonkers!

You can buy players and still respect FFP.

Buy players worth £150m and put them all on 5 year contracts and it adds £30m loss to the bottom line plus wages. Sell Dzeko, Tevez, Kolarov, Lescott and release Kolo, RSC, Bridge etc and you pretty much have that covered for the first year. Our income is growung much quicker than that so no problems beyond.
