wait wait...

we are seriously jumping the gun here.

This deal is exactley what we were looking for and wanted, however there PB said the deal is broken down into 3 stages.

Cavani agreing terms/wages
Agreeing a fee/deal with Napoli
Agreeing a fee for agents

For this deal Di Marzio and Tancredi supported which is being proposed and looks likely, doesn't Dzeko need to buy into it and agree?!!

He just said a few days ago he is staying...

Would we approach Napoli with that kind of deal a few weeks back without Dzeko's semi-agreement as a minimum? Otherwise why table it in the 1st place? Looks like Napoli have bitten and now want us to take some action...

Anyone know about Dzeko situ on this?

He wants to go, we tried to offload at the start of the season and failed, and with him being a AC Milan fan the Serie A will appeal to him , plus Napoli being in the Champions League imo.

Will him being an AC Milan fan work in favor of or against a deal with Napoli?

Given how freely players in Italy seem to move between the big clubs, the fact that he'd get to play in Serie A may help any future move to Milan.

This is a million miles from being done imo

This is one of those deals which will be a saga and involve many clubs and be stretched out to August with all kinds of tricks and brinkmanship going on.

I don't think so. This deal will either be completed at the start of the closed season or both parties will move on. There are too many targets available and Napoli are sitting on a £50m player that thy can't afford to play transfer chicken with.
