Latest Cavani transfer odds on Skybet.

Chelsea 2/5
City and Real 7/2
PSG 25/1

I dare say other betting firms have their own odds on this transfer, but it isn't looking good as it stands.

And now it's...

Chelsea in to 1/4
City and Real out to 5/1
PSG next best at 25/1

Looks like we have lost out on him.

Do favourites always win? I think not.

Fair comment, but the big money is placed by the insiders, as when Moyes odds plummeted before he landed his new job. Bookies make occasional mistakes but they never drop clangers. They aren't offering much for Chelsea but they are offering plenty for City and Real, and they would never be so generous without having good reason to be so.

You really do not have a clue do you? People come on here to discuss football, transfer news and opinions. Name calling just debases everything. If you can not deal with someone's opinion without having to take it to the level of name calling then you should not really bother coming on here. I quite like you snippets of information and knowledge at times but at other times........

I wont let this get to the level I have seen you with other posters at where you are PMing them your details so to try and intimidate them however....after all its not worth the 7hr trip from Cornwall for me or you...Im sure you would win

Keep posting however as I do find your info interesting.......thanks

Get a thicker skin, it's the internet - and i can do cornwall in 4.5hrs in my motor (O:

And to add, you're right, it's a forum for debate, me saying you know fuck all and it being reinforced by others really doesn't mean 0, it's subjective after all, i would like to educate you though......sorry i mean offer advice!!!

come down to cornwall then...ill lend you a board and we can go surfing....leave it till september/october however and the swell is nice and big.....and then i can laugh!

Re: Cavani Speculation/News (page 151 onwards)

Do Chelsea intend to play with one striker? Because Rafa did and Mourinho did at Real (Benzema or Higuain). Yet I browse Twitter and see these three things close together:

Sky Sports Football @SkyFootball 3h
Fernando Torres says he has no intention of leaving Chelsea and is looking forward to working under Jose Mourinho.

Sky Sports Football @SkyFootball 1h
Romelu Lukaku will play his football at Chelsea next season after holding productive talks with Jose Mourinho.

Duncan Castles @DuncanCastles 2h
Napoli & AS Monaco want Branislav Ivanovic as Chelsea attempt to sign Edinson Cavani.

(They also have Ba + are linked with Jovetic and Hulk)

they would surely have to off load one of them.....and it wont be lukaku...so thats either torres or ba they would have to sell......torres would be hard to sel as people have already pointed out...not sure about Ba though...would have thought there might be quite a few clubs interested in him

I bet your glad you didn't have that bet with ac milan!

Why's that???? have i missed something??

tell you what smartarse you step up - i'll offer you the same terms- deal???
You missed something maybe?! You not heard chelski have bid for our no.1 target. Im sorry where is our serious bid?

Re: Cavani Speculation/News (page 151 onwards)

I always thought that the odds varied with regards to how much money was placed. The bookies set the prices to begin with when they create the market and then the odds ebb and flow from there.

I'm not sure the amounts placed on player transfer bets needs to be that much for the odds to move drastically

If they always did, the bookies would go bankrupt
