Re: Cavani Speculation/News (page 151 onwards)
As for the transfer rumours, Hulk is a winger, Jovetic is a versatile forward/second striker, Schurrle is a winger, Lukaku is a kid.
I'm as gutted as anyone that he seems to be slipping away, but trying to invent a scenario where Chelsea can't sign him based on the 2 useless strikers they already have and a bunch of transfer gossip from the Daily Fail involving players who aren't even center-forwards anyway just to make ourselves feel better is silly. He's exactly what they need and haven't had since Drogba was in his prime years ago.
Ba is average at best and Torres is utter garbage. Anyone who thinks either of those would stop them from trying to sign Cavani can dream on.simon23 said:LoveCity said:Do Chelsea intend to play with one striker? Because Rafa did and Mourinho did at Real (Benzema or Higuain). Yet I browse Twitter and see these three things close together:

Fernando Torres says he has no intention of leaving Chelsea and is looking forward to working under Jose Mourinho.

Romelu Lukaku will play his football at Chelsea next season after holding productive talks with Jose Mourinho.
Duncan Castles @DuncanCastles 2h
Napoli & AS Monaco want Branislav Ivanovic as Chelsea attempt to sign Edinson Cavani.
they would surely have to off load one of them.....and it wont be lukaku...so thats either torres or ba they would have to sell......torres would be hard to sel as people have already pointed out...not sure about Ba though...would have thought there might be quite a few clubs interested in him
