Last year we lost RvP to Rags because we would not move from our valuation this year same looks like it happening and the outcome will be the same

Was it not more the fact we couldn't shift Mario,Dzeko or Tevez while the Rags could guarantee him being the top dog?

Think so, thers no way an arrogant twat like Rvp would battle for a place with 3 world class strikers.
Cavani is unproven in the prem I'd make a cheeky bid for Lukaku,he'd be the perfect partner for Kun!

Was thinking just the same mate, worst football I have seen in forty seasons of watching City. We have seen some shite, but usually even in the dark years we would have a go. Pearce is fucking clueless.

I honestly think our owners are doing the right thing they are sticking to their guns and not letting this parasite of an owner at Napoli hold them to ransom.

Cavani is a good player and I can see what he could bring to the team but I don't think he's half as good as some people are making out and I think some may be disappointed by what they actually see in the flesh compared to the hype on here.

If someone wants to pay more and we lose him then not to worry we simply need to get a plan B in place if Dzeko is going as we will need replacement as for Tevez I think we'd be crazy to get rid of him I hope Pellegrini comes in and gives Tevez his full support and we will see him have a great season.

Forest won the European Cup with Gary Birtles. Villa with Peter Withe. United with who ....Teddy f***ing Cavani was it? I know it's not the same but you get my drift. Build a team!

If Chelsea get Cavani because he wants to play for Jose, or Madrid get him because he likes paella, so be ***ing it. We have and are signing good enough new players to win without Edin 60m Euros Cavani.

I like Cavani and I think he'd improve the squad but I agree on the "sign..... and we're guaranteed to win the title" thing. I've seen it on the Ronaldo and Bale threads too and it's bollocks. Ronaldo has won one title in 4 seasons at Real Madrid, hardly a guarantee! I'd rather we built a top class team rather than head down the galacticos route.
