FFS. This whining about cavani or bust is getting on my tits. Listen to you all! 10 years ago you were tickled pink with a 'past it' Robbie Fowler.

If Chelsea get Cavani because he wants to play for Jose, or Madrid get him because he likes paella, so be ***ing it. We have and are signing good enough new players to win without Edin 60m Euros Cavani.

Cavani is a better player than Dzeko. Transfers are all about improving your team and increasing your chances of winning matches. I think this is why people are whining about cavani.

Reading these posts you'd think cavani was messi, in all honesty how many people have watched cavani regularly, and how many are jumping on the hype bandwagon. it's not like Italian football is must watch tv. If he comes at the right price then great but he is not the all and end all. People get to hung up on beating Chelsea regardless of anything else. Also people keep harping on about RVP, he was at arsenal 8 years and how many titles did he win. It's not just about one man but the team and the signings we are making have made the team stronger and if we go into the season with Sergio, Carlos and edin I will not be losing any sleep.

No but they got Napoli into 2nd and into the Champions League for £30m of extra cash in the coming season.

Real signed a no-agro pact and going head to head v us for Cavani is exactly opposite of what the pact is about. Suarez wants out of the country and Real need to replace Higuain, Suarez is 20m cheaper and equally as good but different in style of play. Suarez has doen a few interviews now saying he wants to go, the writings on the wall.

I personally believe the whole Chelsea to Cavani stuff is brinkmanship, Napoli get more money and Chelsea try to lower Rooney price?

If Chelsea are planning to buy Hulk, Cavani etc then they must have a ridiculous war chest because those two cost 100m euro and that's without other signings. Unlike us they don't really have any sell-able players who can boost coffers. We could sell Tevez and Nasri and not miss them, Chelsea have a flop signing and a few fringe players who aren't top level, any other trades are directly weakening their first eleven. I just can't see it, call me hopeful but I just can't. They'd have bought Falcao otherwise as his fees are similar and his agent is same as Jose's. Sounds to me like they have 60m to spend on two strikers and Hulk and Rooney are targets.
