interesting day! I think it says a lot that when asked about Mourinho, he volunteered pellegrini, there was just no need to mention him, especially as he's not even confirmed as our manager yet

According to the Sky Sports article, he was asked about the prospect of playing for City or Chelsea and answered with Pellegrini or Mourinho. Not really much to take out of that I don't think.

I thought they just asked about Chelsea, could be wrong though.

Yeah there was a script of the full interview earlier in the thread where it read he was asked about working with the special one - not sure if its legit

To be honest when these journalists speak of Cavani in Italy, they rarely mention City - always Chelsea and Real Madrid. I'd love it if we could pull this off, it'd shock a lot of people I think as so many are adamant now he'll be off to Chelsea.
