Prestwich Blue did some maths a while back which indicated that we could spend £140m this summer and still make FFP. The maths is sound - assumimg we didn't get more sponsorship - so I don't think he'll be far wrong.

Assuming: Navas as well as Fernandiniho total about £50m we still could conceivably spend another £90m.

Madrid want Cavani and Isco. So do we. Allegedly we have an non aggression pact with Madrid. So it makes sense that we both get one. Their need for a striker is probably greater than ours, especially as Higuain seems to be off.

If you ask me, there is too many attempts on here to convince ourselves that the Chelsea story is a "ploy" to hurry txiki and city up. Clearly it isnt, I have not seen one denial of any bid from Chelsea, or a Chelsea denial of what ADL said re.theyll call me soon and are interested.

You are right with your first paragraph.

But Jose Alberti is a complete KFA and no 'expert' at all. Nearly everything he says turns out to be false, otherwise Lavezzi would be playing for Liverpool, Sneijder for United, and Dzeko for Milan.

I'd never heard of Jose Alberti before tbh, I seen a article about it on football italia or something. Apparently Duncan Castles has an update on Cavani tomorrow. forgotten what paper he is with but thought I'd mention it
