I posted weeks ago that it was all a game of poker when it came to cavani. Adl has just shown his hand. I am going to put a fair bit of money on him coming.

Did ADL say we couldn't afford it?

Or is that just sky's presenters version?

Sky of course, we could afford the release fee, but perhaps we don't believe he's worth it or trying to get a better deal. It will be interesting if anyone else comes in for him. Napoli may just end up keeping him.

Cheeky twat ;-) I can spot a second account bullshitter from a mile away and AC cock snot has got it written all over him.

Feel free to ask your mods where my second and third accounts are.
Thanks.

hope he stays, has a poor season, and gets slaughtered (metaphorically) by the lovely Neapolitans

If Cavani were to ever have an off season, his stock would plummet faster than the crash of '29. Someone like Dzeko will score 5-10 goals fewer a season and ADL will pocket 40m for the difference.

Let ADL think about that. If he won't come down and wants to keep Cavani, fair enough, it's a big risk though if the player becomes disgruntled and stops scoring.

Why? This isn't on the player. It's the owner.

If they had proof they'd have fucked you off already. Due to the fact that proxy servers are still allowed, all sorts of fuckwits re sign after they've been banned. However, they usually give themselves away by reverting to their cuntish nature.

I just read the transcript and the preceding part of the Dzeko comment is interesting and almost suggests ADL is inviting us to come back but value Edin less.

"I could accept a part-exchange deal if the players proposed are attached with a figure that represents the actual value of the player.

"[Edin] Dzeko for example, is no longer what he once was, he was not a starter last season. He did not perform how he did in the Bundesliga [with Wolfsburg]. This is assuming that Dzeko wants to join Napoli, of course."
