Cavani Speculation/News (part 5)

TBH having watched him in the Confed Cup and various other matches, I don't rate this Cavani and certainly not at the prices quoted. I feel a tad disappointed that Isco looks to be heading elsewhere. I feel less so if it turns out Cavani does to. Lets look again at what's available out there, because I suspect there will be some decent forwards who are a tad younger, hungrier and cheaper.

Should be an entertaining Confed Cup Final, regardless of who wins the Spain/Italy semi.

My opinion on Cavani didn't change too much, his defensive work rate did impress me. Still think he's a great striker and a great finisher, but a little pricey. Would love to see him in a City shirt for about 10 mil less.

Saw a different side to his game tonight, he practically played rwb! Outstanding fight and work rate throughout, took his goal well aswel! Not sure about 50 million but if we can manage to get him around the 40 mark i'll be happy.

Cavani----Aguero

FRIGHTENING

Dan Taylor said on Twitter he's been told we won't be buying Cavani/Suarez/Rooney or paying Tevez style wages, so looks like we'll be looking a rung down at someone like Soldado or Martinez perhaps. He also said it's "not happening for Guidetti" whatever that means.

Oh fuck

He had a better game today, largely due to his workrate

Don't rate him. I know he's scored a barrowload of goals for Napoli, but his general game is not good enough. I could see us signing him, and him being a disaster

Sign Suarez and you know what you'd get (I don't want him), but I'd have no confidence in Cavani. He should stay at Napoli. if he goes to a big club, the pressure will be on him and he doesn't look like he can handle it

So 2nd tier players then?? Have we not learnt anything?? Higuain is signing for arsenal for £22m!!! He would almost certainly prefer here at nt a huge expense for a player of his quality!

Who is Dan Taylor?
