Dan Taylor said on Twitter he's been told we won't be buying Cavani/Suarez/Rooney or paying Tevez style wages, so looks like we'll be looking a rung down at someone like Soldado or Martinez perhaps. He also said it's "not happening for Guidetti" whatever that means.
Sounds a bit like arsenal, sell your top players and pick up second or third tier players...

I'm really happy with our signings so far, but I was convinced this would be a transformational window where we sign someone to really get excited about. Reports aren't suggesting that so far though. Long way to go...

I never believed i'd see Guidetti as a regular here.

A rung down? Benteke please.

If thats true, then seriously what are they thinking?

We need a top quality striker, not second best.

Oh dear.

Crazy if true and very worrying. What happens if Edin doesn't give a shit again next season and aguero gets injured??

I can't see us paying big money until we start to break even, for me we look to be taking FFP seriously.

The owner will want profit soon, and I think Txiki will believe we can have success at an affordable price, not at the costs we have been running for the past few years.

Can't believe we're putting our faith in fucking Dzeko again

Yeah, pinch of salt springs to mind.

We're hardly going to give DT the inside track as to how much dough we are looking to spunk on a new striker.
