CC SF 1st and 2nd leg ticket info and prices..updated page 3

If/when we win and get to the final I'd hope that all the 'I can't afford it', along with 'I've had a season ticket for xx years', 'I went to York- how dare someone whose been to cup games this season get a ticket before me' etc don't all start the mega moan.

I'm not rolling in money but decided to not do any away games anymore so I can afford all home games. But threads will appear for Wembley moaning about tickets. If you can't afford a semi at home (this is aimed at local blues) you'll have no chance of affording a trip to London/booze etc

Yes if you can't make it fine but just like in the real world nobody owes you a free ride.

I pay for 2 season cards and cup schemes for fa and Europe x 2
. I went to the cc Birmingham game this season too. I will be happily watching this game on tv cos I can't afford it. I can't believe there are blues getting on the backs of those that can't attend. And no I won't moan about final tickets cos I can't afford those and transport to london anyway.

If sales are that bad then city will reduce the prices like they did for hamburg. I don't think it will come to that but if it does I will be first in line

Ive got my ticket automatically as I am in the cup scheme, but even if I wasnt I would beg, steal and borrow to attend a semi final which the blues are playing in no doubt about that. Everyones priorities are different though and that is their choice, I have mates who attend every home game and a good portion of away games who haven't been to any of the cup games yet this season for whatever reason. I also know that should we win, their priorities will change and even if they are skint they will afford a ticket for the final!

liverpool and united tickets purchased cant wait ... with crimbo money recieved people have no excuses not to go in my book.
What a stupid comment to make. I love city as much as the next person, but there are other things.in life. I won't be going to both Liverpool games in the CC as I have a house/car to run, 2 kids and a holiday coming up. and spare money will be going towards that. Hope that's a good enough excuse for you!!

Nah, it's a shit excuse. Shame you've never heard of contraception - that way you might be able to afford to attend more games.

the semi final certainly begs a few questions, the daft pricing as obviously alienated many fans, which is a great shame not only for those missing the game, but also those in attendance, it won't make for much of a spectacle with 15000 empty seats.

but also it highlights the lack of supporters waiting in the wings to jump into the available seats, basically it's by and large the same fan base dipping in to their pockets, and ultimately liverpool on bbc for the league cup is seen as too expensive, so not only city but liverpool should be somewhat ashamed that making maximum profit comes before actually filling the stadiums.

but having said that our group will make the 300 mile round trip as per usual, and i can say as a matter of fact none of us are big earners, but the chance to see city in a semi final is surely something to relish
33,000 in attendance? Total poppycock. We've already sold more than that.

-- Fri Dec 30, 2011 12:01 pm --

Very much doubt many people are going to be signing up to the Carling Cup scheme next season.

neither I nor the wife will be after this

I'd at least thought they'd have given Cup Scheme Members a discount of say £5 a ticket?

How long before we copy the rags and this is compulsory.

Like a few others here I wish our club would make a stand on ticket prices.

I have no kids so I can afford £40 however I understand why people can't, for some reason a few people here seem to have accepted that this sort of price is acceptable.

IMO football matches should be around the £10-15 mark
go watch non league then.
