Celebrities who get on your nerves

All of them, all of them, all of them. Celebrities of what, second rate performers lauded by people who know very little and have the attention span of armchair rags.

I'm not sure whether the public eye thing is so relevant, he wasn't one to make his private life public before his big announcement and it isn't really anyone's business. Why should he have been expected to be a role model for young Lgbt people and out himself if he wasn't completely comfortable with it at that point in time?

It could be worse, she could have been married to the pigface rughead at Derby County.
Super injunction the broom cupboard boy put out says otherwise.

If they're all characters that he portrays, why do they all the same annoying, overbearing characteristics?

He plays himself, from what I've seen of him, or maybe he's got multiple personality disorder and Leigh Francis is actually a really quietly polite, thoughtful individual who hates the limelight (?)
I've seen him both in his Keith lemon persona and as himself in my workplace travelling back north. I think you maybe onto something there.

What is the evidence that such a superinjuction actually exists? Why hasn't an overseas outlet leaked the news?

I have searched for this and all I have found are dark corners of the web full of speculation.

It’s an exaggerated persona at the very least. He hasn't been one to appear in interviews so it's hard to tell how different they actually are, but even people like Stewart Lee and Frankie Boyle are quite different in interviews.

Ferne Cotton has said he isn't the same as Keith Lemon and said he is actually quite a reserved person in the real world.

Nobody is pretending that Keith Lemon/Leigh Francis is a great comedy actor with great range in ability or accent, because he isn't.

Which bit? The multiple personality bit?

Loads of celebrities have mental health issues, either as a result of the day-to-day life of being famous, or being the very reason why the sought out fame in the first place ("tears of the clown" and all that).

Either way, I don't much like Keith Lemon.
Avid Merrion was funny though.

Yes.

Maybe a little imposter syndrome?

I've seen him dressed as Lemon keeping a hen do party happy on a train I was passing on.

Last time I saw him he was scrunched up in the corner of his seat next to a window. He left his ticket on the table next to him not wanting to be disturbed.

I don't get the need to bring Barrymore into the conversation, although married they had no kids.

This is why he outed himself.

I mentioned Barrymore to make the point that admitting he was gay didn’t dent his popularity with the public.

Therefore, seeing as Schofield wasn’t actually struggling with his sexuality there was no reason why he couldn’t have been open about it.

Nothing more sinister than that.

I understood that, and didn't think you were trying to make a comparison in their "lifestyles" but there were probably better examples to use than mentioning that horrible self-pitying creep.

Unless you have had a conversation with him, I'm not sure you can know he wasn't struggling with his sexuality (or the effects coming out would have on his family). Particularly as he said the opposite when he made the announcement.

If the Sun wasn't such a malign voyeuristic organisation we would probably not know. I wasn't surprised to learn he was gay but before last year and hadn't even thought about his private life or sexual orientation.

Agree with on your description of Barrymore; reference to him was more to do with timelines.

IIRC, Schofield got married in the early nineties - around the time Barrymore was outed.

You’re right of course, we can’t know if he was struggling with his sexuality but I don’t think he was - like I said in my earlier post, Joan Collins actually said on GMB everyone knew and he’d been on to ”a good thing” so his version of events don’t ring true to me.

As with Barrymore, he came out before it was printed in the press. The Sun is the lowest of the low - they were front and centre in hounding Caroline Flack and look how it affected her.

I do work for actor john thompson (fat bob) who once told me leigh francis is a dead quiet shy fella

Jane McDonald talentless unfunny shite singer yorkshire twat.
One of my mates calls her Viagra.

I don't see the attraction myself. She came from a TV era where agents snapped up so called reality TV stars for cheap light entertainment programmes. Fair play she's run with what she's got which seems to be being paid a lot more to talk to old people on boats. This time she has a camera crew with her.

Fat blobby bastard Bob?
