Celebrities who get on your nerves

I honestly am not repulsed by anything people get up to in their private lives, gay or straight, not my place to judge but Schofield is a liar and being in the public eye he has misled his "fans" regardless of how moronic they are.

His wife having a comfortable lifestyle and being the forgiving sort is fuck all to do with it, if she's stayed with him for his money she's a fucking idiot too.

I'm not sure whether the public eye thing is so relevant, he wasn't one to make his private life public before his big announcement and it isn't really anyone's business. Why should he have been expected to be a role model for young Lgbt people and out himself if he wasn't completely comfortable with it at that point in time?

It could be worse, she could have been married to the pigface rughead at Derby County.

He made happy family TV programmes with his wife. Total facade, and wonder if she signed a contract to keep her mouth shut and continue the lies. He portrayed himself as the polar opposite to what he actually is which is what I dislike about him

It wouldn't have been so difficult had he not lied to her about his sexuality for 20 years. I wonder if she would have married him if he'd said "Actually I am gay and I fancy men, not women"?
Like I said, all of this hostility to him is based on taking offence on his wife's behalf. She's never expressed anything remotely approaching the hostility of some people on here. Maybe, actually knowing the guy and having some insight into the situation, she sees it as a bit more complex than you do?

That reminds me, Keith Lemon is a right **** (IMO)

Bo Selecta was funny, but everything else he's ever done for TV has me swearing at the telebox and changing the channel to ANYTHING else. The guy's a prick.

A comedy character, that isn't supposed to be sympathetic. Leigh Francis is the real person.

If they're all characters that he portrays, why do they all have the same annoying, overbearing characteristics?

He plays himself, from what I've seen of him, or maybe he's got multiple personality disorder and Leigh Francis is actually a really quietly polite, thoughtful individual who hates the limelight (?)

Check out the episode of the brilliant sitcom Toast of London where Michael Ball sends himself up something rotten as the violent enforcer for Andrew Lloyd Webber’s underworld loan sharking operation. Anybody who is willing to take the piss out of their public persona is fine by me
Saw him as Mack Sennet in Mack 'n Mabel at The Opera House. He was brilliant.

When it all came out (no pun intended) I seem to recall reading that he said he’d struggled with his sexuality. No doubt conflicted as he was married with kids.

However, it was an open secret in show business that he was gay. So much so that Joan Collins commented about it on GMB when she said she didn’t understand why he’d come out when he did as he been ‘on to a good thing’. She was quickly diverted from the topic!

For me, he was disingenuous about struggling with his sexuality and it makes a mockery of anyone who genuinely does struggle with such matters.

There was no reason why he couldn’t admit he was gay. Barrymore was outed at the height of his fame and it didn’t affect his ratings. It was only after the Stuart Lubbock incident that he fell from grace.

I don't get the need to bring Barrymore into the conversation, although married they had no kids.

This is why he outed himself.

That rylan guy
Yes, hes on fucking everything at the moment - even the ads. Obviously good at what he does but the beeb are flogging him to death as they have with others in the past. I'm not one of the defund the bbc types, but a bit of Rylan and one episode of Mrs Browns boys could persuade me.
