Celebrity rant

Is O Leary a blue?
O'Leary has also been a Manchester City supporter since an early age. In 2003, he was offered the opportunity to buy a stake in the club but believed the potential benefits did not outweigh the risk and preferred to visit England to watch a few matches each season.

Trevor Sinclair's not on there. Nor is Bernard Manning. I suspect it's just an incomplete and not updated list.

Wasn't there talk about Alan Rickman at one point? Did we ever get any proof for that?

Marsha Thomason should be on there too. Big blue repping it up in the States. Anyone who watched White Collar would recognize her.

There were a couple Mets pitchers in the away end at Anfield too if that's worth anything.

And surely at this point we can stick Kompany on there too?

Your post says more about you than the people mentioned. Some of those folk stuck by us when we were ****. Obviously before you started supporting us

Firstly the post was made in jest, as you will see from my second post on the thread. You obviously have no sense of humour, but thankfully the majority of posters who have added posts do have a sense of humour, with them probably having lived through all the shite times. The shite times have obviously affected you in a bad way, you may as well be a Rag, you certainly remind me of one with such a lack of a sense of humour. How on earth does my post suggest I am a new supporter??? your logic is truly amazing my friend!!!.......that last bit is sarcasm by the way, the lowest for of wit.

As you’ve been told, Susan Bookbinder is a journalist and radio broadcaster (I think she’s on Radio London these days) and a proper Blue from a family of Blues and whose brother John, who died young from cancer, was in the 86 FA Youth Cup winning squad. She still goes home and away on a regular basis and has compered several OSC functions in the South East. Poor form to see her get the “Who???” treatment

As I said in my previous post, I started the thread as a bit of fun. I actually hate all that is 'Celebrity' and I am sure that Susan Bookbinder, if she is reading this, would hate to be considered a Celebrity. I honestly had no idea who she is and RIP her brother John, but I can say if CC1 is also reading this, I was at the FA Youth Cup Final in 1986, along with 20,000 other Blues, I would be very interested to know if he was there? or is he going to use the pathetic excuse of not being born???

Ok. Point taken. Sometimes I get thoroughly fed up of the comments by some folk on here - apologies for taking it out on you!

Just to reassure you - & perhaps explain my reaction - I’ve been a ST holder for 50 years so have probably seen more bad times than many on here. I was proud to see over 30,000 real fans at our first home game when we dropped down to the old 3rd division. We were loud & loyal.

From my point of view - all fans are welcome- celebs included - as long as they are loyal and fair.
