Celtic game - strict security measures announced (page 34)

I think it will take a serious kick off for the club to realise the fuck up they've made, maybe it needs it because it looks like City will sell to anyone & couldn't care less.

The back rows of 105 is for 'friends of UEFA'. These are usually mostly away fans and as far as I can tell the normal rules of behaviour don't apply to them.
The steward on duty told me they can't eject them because they are 'friends of UEFA' - they can do what the fuck they want - in other words the club know exactly what's going on.
They openly wear away colours, sing songs and generally act like arseholes with no thought for the home fans.
When a serious incident occurs and someone gets hurt the club will no doubt play dumb and say it couldn't be foreseen.

Why don't you relocate to the parts of the ground where it is likely to be all City even when there is a big away following such as 111/117/118 and the Singing Section

I intend to. I was in 117 before but fancied a change!

Two calls from City today. As directed, I complained to Danny Wilson but Paul from Supporter Services called me. He has a north east accent and I believe it's him who relocated me over the phone for this season. He too explained that numerous ejected fans had tickets supposedly sold to Blues and they'd tried everything to stop tickets falling in to the wrong hands. Handing your ticket on is illegal and sanctions will be imposed on them who do. I'd sooner lose my money than let a Celtic fan (or any other non-Blue) in my seat.

I then took a second call from a Wilson minion who checked my complaint was resolved. He sounded nervous and unsure of himself. I got rid of him quickly. I will no longer cancel the Champions League Cup Scheme but Tuesday night will live with me for a long time. Those pieces of shit ruined the evening.

All of this thread was inevitable the minute we drew them, luckily the game had nothing riding on it, otherwise there would have been serious trouble.

Good that UEFA have charged Celtic over their supporters behaviour.

Despite having a ticket I didn't bother (and no it wasn't passed on), as I couldn't be bothered spending 8-10 hours travelling to and from the game, and spending an extra £50 on fuel on top of the ticket (including an invariably closed somewhere M6, on the way home). Glad I didn't, had a nice meal and bottle of wine whilst watching the game on TV, albeit through the fog that is BT sports, and having to listen to that tw@t savage.
