My response to your comment was fairly lighthearted just like yours so no need to take offence.
Your analysis of me was quite observant,I have Scottish connections and I spend a bit if my youth in Aberdeen as my old man spent time working up there.
I now also live in Aberdeen having followed the old man into oil-related work(it's a fucking bind the travelling up and down for games these days).
You're follow up post after the dramatic start makes me think you're a decent sort so let's move on.

I suppose it's all a matter of perception, and your comment seemed to me to be a tad derisory, hence my reaction. If you feel it was a bit OTT, then I apologise, but that's how I felt when I typed it.
However, we're all here to talk about football, paticularly City, and differences in opinion are to be expected. It wouldn't be much of a forum if we all agreed on every topic, and we all react to criticism, whether meant light hearted or not, in different ways.
I am, as you say, a decent sort, and so I'm prepared to reassess your opinion of me into a positive figure as I'm nice like that! Life's too short for animosity, so welcome, friend.

Are you suggesting I would take your namesakes approach to Celtic playing in Europe ;)
To be honest I like to see them win in Europe along with all other Scottish teams but I doubt that will fit in with the narrative of some.

I was wondering if anyone is thinking his job might be at risk. I don’t really follow Scottish football but it does seem odd that Celtic can go from not losing a game for about a hundred years to being a distant second to Hearts, out of the Champions league again and in real danger of going out of the Europa league. I can see heads rolling.
