Cheers Mat. Normal service resumed after the overhyped Sevco were out in their place. Can’t wait to get them at home. We will fucking hammer them. My big Sevco pal is in a state of bereavement. I’m texting him on an hourly basis to make sure he doesn’t do anything stupid.

I do what I can. He’s my best pal.
Watching that yesterday, I fail to see how some bookies had Sevco down as favourites for the game. They were, to use a sweaty saying, utter gash. Celtic weren't that much better, mind. But you were better.

We didn’t play as well as we can but it was about fucking them up in their own midden. They are so hyped up by the press and their, believe any fucking thing support. Deludedamol Central as I refer to Ibrox.

We will improve our defence this window and when we click I fancy us to go up a good bit. Tune into the next game with them at ours. We will run them ragged.

We have just bought a young City player. The deliciously named Jerimie Frimpong, on a four year deal. Dutch U 19 International. Anybody who watches the younger City teams know anything about him?

Cracking little player. He's only small which is his main concern, but he's stupidly fast and glides past people as if they're not there. Never stops running, has a tremendous attitude and seems a really nice lad too. Right-back, can play on the left as well. He's not brilliant defensively, but he works very hard and has very, very good recovery pace. Given his age and size I suspect he's one to be slowly integrated. If he gets in though, you'll enjoy him. Regular academy watchers loved him as he's so so exciting.

Why did we sell him?

I presume we wouldn't if he'd wanted to stay. Frimpong said himself that he knew of Celtic's interest ages ago, and I saw rumours knocking about that he felt it'd be worth moving on for his career really. When you look at who's in front of him you can't really blame the lad! Walker, Cancelo, probably Dionkou given his size. We'd even probably play any of our CBs or Fernandinho or even Sterling as a RWB before he'd get a kick too. He's really, really liked in general, but I can only presume they just honoured his wishes as i'm not sure he had any intention of signing a contract in the future.

Great news. I knew if he was with you he must have something about him, so hopefully he is one for the future. We also bought a young Utd player Lee O’Connor and the rags are unhappy as they think he’s a real prospect too. Thanks for the feedback, appreciate it.

I don't recall if there were any other factors, but Dionkou being taken on tour this summer over Frimpong would definitely suggest he was ahead in the pecking order.

Yeah possibly. Admittedly at this point i think he'd already signalled his intention to move on though and City dont bring lads on tour who probably won't hang about. Could just be that Dionkou is ahead of him too in their eyes. In terms of on the pitch performances for the academy though Frimpong has been unquestionably better
