Celtic Thread - 2021/22

Are you letting any away fans in yet?

Do you agree with your club fucking up the derby? You aren't doing it because you cant, you're doing it because you want a guarantee that the W.H.O couldn't give. As you should know, if you don't, go back on FF and see the threads about banning us for celebrating. Petty and sends out the signal you couldn't take it. The whole game is about the atmosphere and the rivalry, you killed it. As for us not having away fans in is not because we are shitting it from them. Part of the Main Stand had to be closed so the fans with season books in there had to be temporarily relocated. Thats the reason for that. I hope its sorted because as Stien and not busby said, There is no football without the fans. Maybe it will take another regime change to get the 7,500 in at each game, your board seem to be fighting everyone again. And as they fear us now, having none of our support there is a deliberate attempt to reduce our threat, bottle crashing patter for all to see.

Mate, if you aren't giving away fans tickets, regardless of circumstances, you can hardly go mental if clubs say if we dont get tickets then you won't get tickets. Why should our fans miss out & your fans don't? Why give you an advantage at having fans at our ground but we don't get any of yours.

Question, do you think Celtic should have reduced the number of season tickets sold so that an away allocation can be put in?

Yes I think we should have. Away fans always makes the atmosphere better. I would be happy if teams could bring 7,500 fans to every home game. But we need to get the fans back to the game. We wanted your fns there, we just couldn't give a guarantee, after these last 18 months and think 4 months from now we know how covid will be? Impossible to give a guarantee, but if everything is ok, then absolutely you get 800. Why not phrase it like that? Having to refuse something we can't control, is making it look like it was Celtics fault. It was a ploy to get what they wanted and that's as clear as crystal. None of our fans there. A cauldron, because the penny has dropped Ange is building something and its happened a year earlier than even those whonthought he could do it. To laughing like fuck from my big pal. not laughing now, to be fair. Thats my view anyway. It was contrived to ge the outcome they wanted by asking for the impossible.

Fair do's. The only thing I will say, is that it's the same for both clubs, so not sure what advantage that gives us over the course of the season.

As for the original downgrade, I think there were a few different factors. I think you are right, there probably was a fair bit of jealousy, think some thought celebrations were over the top like Griffiths tying scarfs to goal posts etc. Also think the different stadium layouts didn't help, you guys got a full end, in full view of the camera, we were stuck in a corner out of view. Some genuinely would prefer as much of their own fans in as possible, & don't give a monkeys about away fans in Ibrox or going to any other ground in the country.

Does it detract from the spectacle? Yeah it probably does, although could make the cup games seem more special. It certainly doesn't give any club an advantage though if both clubs do the same thing.

We need to get the crowd back. This pish is embarrassing.

Joe with a horrendous clanger against AZ Alkmaar. Attempted clearance blocked by the attacker, who taps it into an empty net. 1-1 (3-1 on aggregate to Celtic). Only 8 minutes gone.

2-1 (2-3 on aggregate) from another defensive howler.
They need to score the next goal.
Said it before but Phillip Sandler would be a good signing for Celtic now he seems to have got over his injury problems. They badly need a centre half
