What are people's thoughts on Postecoglou's time at Celtic? I have heard whispers that he's very highly regarded by City's hierarchy and is definitely seen as a potential successor to Pep.

Given the points difference between Rangers and Celtic when he took over, I'd have thought he's done a pretty decent job domestically while failing to impress on the European stage, is that fair?

Check post 943 for a Celtic fans view.

It’s official, the main strategy of Rangers and their friends, getting rid of Ange has happened. Beale must have mixed feelings, glad to see him off, but concerned even his own thought he had no fucking chance against Ange. Which he didn’t. The cunts useless as will be found out no matter who we get in.

Does that mean you would countenance taking someone unproven again, say Enzo Mareca, or would you now prefer someone proven, say Brendan Rodgers? Either way, I suppose anyone will be adept at shooting fish in the domestic barrel, but qualifying for the latter stages of the Champions League is the real test.

Mumbai City manager Des Buckingham was photoed at Glasgow airport today and has now become the favourite for the Celtic job.
Are Celtic all but part of the CFG?

Ange wasn’t unproven. He just wasn’t British. What I am wanting is someone who can handle the pressure and the press. Knows how to motivate, knows a player and is ruthless. But, what I want means fuck all. And that’s their problem, no one asks me. :)

Ancelloti - He'll get you into the CL knockouts and the league sewn up in October.

:)

The useless **** got 19 wins and 2 draws in 23 league games taking over a very average team. I keep saying, just a 5% drop you're levels, a 5% increase in ours, and things get very interesting.

He beat SPFL teams and us when we had half a team out. You need a complete rebuild with a very limited budget. Financial news out today saying the new manager will have as much as £98m to spend. He won’t get all that obviously, if players leave they will bring in a great chunk too. All this optimism is based upon smoke snd mirrors. Beale and every manager of yours gets an easy ride. Slippy three years of nothing and he was still pulling Scottish journos out his arse. That all changes when the action begins and your revamp doesn’t bridge the current gap, never mind the new guy and new players we are going to sign. Still a brass for Beale when everyone is delighted Ange is away because they know he would have ragdolled him. Super Ally springs to mind. And my pal. Both think we will just tread water so Beale and his bargain basement superheroes can take over. Dream on.

We won’t drop a thing. Apart from you lot in the first round.

You said it umpteen times, Ange has been your best manager in years, ever since O'Neil did you not? So what's the chances of your next manager being even better again?! If he is, fair do's, can't argue against teams having 99+ point seasons.

However, if you do drop back, we weren't mile's back, we still had a 92 point season ourselves, and we'll want to be better than last season.

These aren't smoke and mirrors, these are facts. So let's see how it all plays out, looking forward to it.
