Different now, you need proper money...that's why the Spanish are crying despite having £100 millions more than Celtic or Rangers they can't compete with EPL money--- its so much tougher for SPFL teams
 
Ah well , sometimes you need bringing back to reality , we have all been there . Charlton beating us 1 0 springs to mind at home as well , at least it’s not 3
 
Real looked class, but Celtic got exposed in the second half.

Relegation level in PL after all. Got excited by Rangers performance.
 
We were getting told how Celtic were in with a chance of winning the Champions League this season because that is what we constantly have to put up with from their sycophants in the media up here.
Anybody with any common sense however knows this is pure fantasy but as usual the so called journalists will be no doubt making up their excuses right now. Again.
Just had a look…… ‘ Bold Celtic ‘ is the BBC Scotland headline. Laughable.
Two wins in their last nineteen group stage matches.

First decent team they face and they get a beating and they try to tell you there in some kind of decent level because they beat up on a load of bog standard shite up there who probably would struggle at Championship level
 
Really? Any media links to anyone saying Celtic can win the CL this season?

They did me out of a bet there tonight needed them to score just
Seemed to have enough chances going by the highlights

We played some good stuff, should have scored 3 but their class told in the end and missing 3 great chances helped them

Thought it was quite an even contest first 50 mins or so in terms of chances created. Could have been about 2-2 before Madrid eventually scored.

Madrid are masters at that though. They don't come out flying like teams like City and Celtic do. However, that tends to stand them in good stead in the last half hour of games when their opponents can drop off a bit.
 
I actually thought they did well but yet again the gulf showed through ........... think both could actually have good runs in the other Euro competitions because the Champions league is just to brutal for both sides
