I agree but still past his best. I actually rate Zander Clark as a very decent back up keeper. We missed a trick by not bringing him in ourselves. If I remember correctly you got him free last day of the window

I was at Jardines 1000th game. Hearts v Rangers at Tynecastle. He was one of my all time favourite Rangers players.
Gary Stevens / Trevor Steven were brilliant together but purely as players I’d take Jardine over Stevens

McGrain was my favourite player when a lad. He was brilliant. Jardine was an excellent player too, but for me at least, not as good as Danny.Sandy was a central defender at Hearts.
