Never e penalty or sending off. When Yang went off we stuttered. Penalty a joke. Mission accomplished, return to base Brither. Yer pint is waiting. As always.
Agree about the penalty. Both of them, actually. The Celtic one was farcical. And you can’t blame the ref; you were shite. You got what you deserved. Nothing.

Bodge; "l don't like to comment on refs" . Then proceeds to whinge about the referee for a couple of minutes. I notice he wasn't asked/didn't offer an opinion on the penalty decision that went in his team's favour. In my opinion, two of the three big calls were wrong. Neither penalty was a penalty, in my opinion. The red card was understandable. That there was no malice intended is irrelevant. I'd say that in 95% of red card offences, there's no malice. It's generally just clumsiness or poor decision making, as was the case today. Isn't the wording something like endangering an opponent? I'd say having your foot up at head height would qualify as endangering an opponent. But I suppose you seldom get a manager saying that they agree with a red card given to one of his players.

Now I rate Rodgers. He brought Swansea up playing some great stuff and Liverpool were arguably a Gerrard slip away from winning the Premier League. Won everything with Celtic and the FA Cup with Leicester too.
In his previous stint his spending every season at Celtic was more than every other team in the league combined so isn’t much of an achievement, and he won the FA cup eventually with a team he inherited that had previously pissed the league.

Hearts Hearts glorious Hearts.

So getting our main threat from wide gets sent off and a disgrace of a penalty won’t affect you? Seems legit.

He deserved the red card. Not sure what you're complaining about. As for the penalty, I've already said that both were ludicrous. That being said, you definitely looked that gift horse in the mouth. I get it; you fucked up, so you're upset. I'd be the same.

What a day for the football.
Since when did the rules change a kick to the head is not an sending off.
The penalty kick a stonewaller in this season rules as well.

You mean like this one? No Red Card.

Both penalties were soft today I thought
And can have no arguments over the red card
Jesus! We agree.

Was out hillwalking and saw nothing of the game. I’ve since seen clips. My honest opinion is Celtics penalty is more a foul to Hearts than Celtic. Hearts penalty is one we’ve seen given in the past but FFS what is the defender supposed to do? Not a penalty for me!

The Red card is absolutely the right decision. I believe Sportscene pundits are saying otherwise and this is exactly why we should never agree to have ex players in the VAR room. Many don’t know the laws of the game!

Just out of interest. How long did the VAR decisions take? I heard today from somebody that the VAR officials have to take more time over making decisions as there have been too many clear errors recently and the officials have been rushing decisions

Bodge saying game was "refereed outside the field". Muppet.
He’s talking about the red card. Funnily enough the referee, a well known Celtic supporter, recently gave a very harsh Red card against Rangers and was called over by VAR but he is one of the very few officials who stuck with his original decision. He has shown with this incident that he’s not easily swayed

Rodgers also said the Hearts player puts his head down. Not in the clips I’ve seen

Beaton is a cheat. And a ****.

St Mirren v Celtic and games tight St Mirren player Red carded for Joe Hart diving into his boot. No idea who referee was. Most probably Clancy , Collum, Walsh or Robertson lol

Btw that picture proves nothing. I can’t even see much contact. I did highlight yet another shocking decision going Kilmarnocks way against Rangers when Power catches Jack full in the head

It was Celtic supporter Dominic Robertson who sent your player off : )))))))

So you think wee Dominic is cheating against his boyhood heroes

Wow first 30/70 decision goes against your mob and your naming VAR officials. As has been mentioned many times. If Celtic has to endure the dreadful decisions the rest of us do there would be unrest on the streets

Anyway nice to see you’re not taking it too badly.

Interestingly, Dermot Gallagher on ref watch just on SSN suggests the only decision wrong
in the Celtic game was the award of the Celtic penalty.

He thinks the sending off and the handball are unlucky, but that they are probably the correct decisions.

The ex players disagree with him unsuprisingly, so is the issues with the rules or the implementation of them?

Whereas the Motherwell player should have been sent off for his tackle on McCausland, and he went on to score the winner in that game.

Am i the only person that thought this could be a penalty for Hearts after watching the replays.
A few seasons ago never but now there is a good chance of getting it.
Not meaning to handle the ball is not an excuse to refuse a penalty now.
It is like the offside rule now with the advantage to the attacking players taking away.
Some crazy rule changes because of var.
You just hope it goes your way now.
