Did you go for a draw?
Nope. Quite a few but the last ones up were both teams receiving yellows , Trossard booking got that up, and in that phase Ollie Watkins scoring. Decent wee win

Cheeky wee pound on Rangers 12~0 tomorrow @ 50/1 hahaha

A few quid on Rangers -7 @ 3/1.

We better pump this mob

ETA just realised I had Arsenal to win. Just as well it was Bet 365 as they pay out as soon as your team go two goals clear

Life of Brian came to mind

You lucky, lucky, bastard.

Took the day off today, so last night rattled a few trebles to stave off heart failure. One off the most mental games that’s nearly killed me, ever.

We are through and well done in that. I notice the cunts that take time off their work, to fill the thread when we fuck up. Thin on the ground. Must be battering down the hatches and stocking up on Spam. I’ve just finished

The good thing is we go to Villa with no fear. In expecting a defeat, but I wouldn't say we don’t have a chance. I’m looking forward to it.

Congratulations

There. Do you feel better?

They're looking good this year. Probably the first time in a while I'd say they look like a solid PL level team.
Slowly moving forward. Hopefully a few good signings this window to continue the progression. Looking forward to playing Villa. We don’t have Kyogo and Idah can’t score to save his life, so we won’t be at full strength.

Took a bit of time, but getting there.
The 0-0 away to Atalanta is the best result Celtic have had since they beat Barca. You must have missed me giving your mob credit for that one

I did miss it. It was a great point. I was probably still in a state of siege behind my couch.

Doesn’t matter how you get those results. A draw away to a rampant Atalanta is a great result and the reason I remember praising Celtic is I don’t think you get that result without the drubbing in Dortmund. Rodgers learnt a great deal from that heavy defeat.

We all did, primarily, we aren’t near the level to take on the better teams Gung Ho. Everything that could go wrong did. I was worried we would dissolve after that mauling. But, we held in there and got through. I’m hoping this windiw and the summer one, takes us another step forward. I’m hoping for a team that can qualify, then progress. The knock out stages, unless we get a reasonable draw, are beyond us right now. But, it’s money in the bank to buy better players. I have more optimism we can now more forward a step or two. Never had a gram of it until now. There seems to be a realisation that quality costs more than our usual £3-4m and hope we find a star. That can happen. Our problem was we bought every useless prick in Europe for too long.

The Villa game will be super interesting for sure.

I wonder how the flow of the game will go, will Celtic try and dominate possession AT Villa? not many teams can do that.

I don’t think so. We are good in possession but Villa at home requires a bit of caution, not too much though. Go at them. As I said though, we have not a single striker now worthy of the name. We do have people who can score, but Kyogo’s movement causes so many problems even if he wasn’t scoring. Idah is a big lump who can look good but mostly looks like he couldn’t score in a brothel this season. There’s a couple of articles stating our board have said a striker is not a priority. If that’s true, there will be much effing and blinding, and not just from me.

Its a tough ask for Celtic and Rangers, when you look at what they're playing against week in week out, and then they have to raise their game to face the likes of B Dortmund, Atalanta, Lyon and Premier League teams in Europe.

The top scorer in the SPL is on loan at Dundee United, unwanted by Wrexham.
Look at the Europa Conference League table also. Hearts couldn't make the top 24 of this competition finishing well behind Shamrock Rovers, and also behind Slovenian and Bosnian sides.

I'd say the standard of other SPL teams bar Celtic/Rangers has declined drastically in the last 10-20 years.

(On the top scorer point, especially Celtic but also Rangers should have a striker each with 20 league goals to their name at least at this stage, given the possession and dominance that they have as well as the financial advantage)
