This is nearly as embarrassing as the ‘We hit the post against Real Madrid’ award a few seasons ago.

Again, its a stretch to say that Celtic failed in this European campaign, no matter who they played in the group stages.
It was a very good campaign. No one expected them to get past Bayern.

This is the time of the year where Celtic fans get together and get inevitably battered by a much stronger opposition with a sky high budget yet they'll never clock on the irony...

Even after their pal in the Var room tried to do his team a favour by cheating, they still fucked it up. These are the same people who were laughing at us drawing with Bayern. You couldn’t make it up.

I’ve seen more accurate pictures than that and the ball did look as if it MIGHT have been out of play but far from conclusive either way.

The thing is we were told VAR would only come in if a mistake was clear and obvious and I think we can all agree this is not clear or obvious.

The linesman here is David Roome and he said the ball was in play. He also wrongly flagged a Hibs player off side denying Hibs a corner and also flagged for a foul on CCV in the first half that was clearly a foul to Hibs! Roome is the linesman that didn’t see three offside Celtic players when Julian scored in a league cup final. Roome is a Rangers supporter or so I’ve been told but I’m beginning to wonder!!
